The location was so convenient, close to attractions and also just next to subway station. The staff was very helpful and always ready to assist. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The Italian restaurant was supper nice with a very relaxing rooftop. Overall, there are only good things to say about my stay at ACE. For sure I would strongly recommended to my friends.

Well set in the Nakagyo Ward district of Kyoto, hotel anddoggy Kyoto Nijo is located 1.1 km from Kyoto International Manga Museum, 1.9 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall and 2.6 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. The 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. The property is 600 metres from the city centre and 1 km from Nijo Castle. Hotel and doggy was amazing. We did not bring a dog this time, but I have never seen a place better prepared to host dogs and their owners. The staff was available 24/7 and helped store our luggage on check out date so we could continue to explore the city. They provided very comfortable pyjamas, which was unexpected but welcomed. All the facilities were top-notch, clean, and quite luxurious. We went during peak tourist season in Kyoto and therefore the price was on the higher side. However, after seeing the facilities first hand, I felt like it was definitely worth the price.

There is a public bathhouse located a 10-minute walk away. Nijo Castle is 2.4 km from Gallery Nozawa Inn, while Kyoto International Manga Museum is 2.4 km from the property. Osaka Itami Airport is 36 km away. Really homey Japanese style house with the coziest kotatsu and sincere hospitality. The breakfast was different and delicious everyday, prepared by the host. Overall a highlight of our trip and truly memorable. Bonus - theres a great onsen nearby open to public.

Open from 2016, Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto features a Western-style restaurant and a tea house by a pond in Shakusuien Japanese garden as well as a lounge. Kyoto Station is a 7-minute drive away. Free WiFi is provided throughout the hotel. A different kind of heaven, since we came from the Four Seasons Tokyo at Otemachi. It was the same wonderful experience, but more peaceful and contemplative. The building has only four floors and stretches through a beautiful garden. It offers more intimacy, tranquility, and calm—perfect for a peaceful stay, enjoying massages, reflections, mental rest, and everything that Japanese culture is so well known for.
