There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. Guests can use the hot spring bath and the hot tub, or enjoy mountain views. The owner of the hotel was very kind, accommodating, and helpful with our planned activities such as skiing. She assisted us with some rental gear and provided assistance with getting to our ski location.

Located right in front of Okushiga Kogen Ski Resort, Okushiga Kogen Hotel offers accommodations with free WiFi, simple wooden interiors and mountain views. Guests can warm up by the fireplace in the lounge or soothe in the spacious public bath. Okushiga Kogen Hotel Mae Bus Stop is a 1-minute walk away. Beautiful hotel, excellent skiing, lovely staff.

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. The atmosphere, the spa, the friendly owner who speaks fluent English! In the case of this accommodation, I can only praise it. The biggest surprise was the owner himself, who was very welcoming and willing to us. It happened to me for the first time that my own name would welcome me next to the entrance!

We were incredibly well looked after by Yoko, who took care of us and provided an exceptional service. Very hospitable. Also, other staff including our day driver Toko were all wonderful and took care of us and made our stay extra special.
