SPECTACULAR Eco Lodge in one of the most beautiful places, a two-minute drive from the Iconic Masai Mara, and since fortunately the park is not fenced you can see the animals walking on the river below or even in the Lodge garden and at night you are pampered by the voices of the mythical animals ... it feels like being in a documentary. There is always a Masai very attentive to checking our safety due to the presence of animals, his name is Moses and I thank him from the heart. The staff and the food were excellent, the rooms and tents beautiful, the cleanliness impeccable. The two owners are exquisite people, Abdul assisted me from home a lot, but he was not present at the time of my stay, he had warned me there was the other owner who was an excellent host! I hurt myself during a safari and he helped me immediately by giving me an ointment against the pain that he also gave me and providing information on the closest clinic to my drivers. He is a National Geographic photographer and the reseption is a jewel full of his wonderful photos. This place is spectacular for where it is located, it is like sleeping inside the park, for the excellent work that the owners and staff do every day (including the Masai), and it has very honest prices. For the location and the place they could be very expensive and instead with their honesty in the prices they also allow less wealthy people to enjoy that atmosphere that my group and I will never forget. I conclude by adding a value, nothing artificial, nothing that clashes with the environment, there are places with a truly luxurious pomp that are not in line with the Savannah and the location, they take away all the magic, the Talek No, is a wonderful ecolodge, where the love and respect for animals can also be read in the signs hanging on the wall: Do you love animals? The units at the accommodation come with a seating area. We had an amazing stay at Mara Hilltop – truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! The view was breathtaking, and the tent was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up. Special thanks to Chef Allan for the delicious meals, and to Lucia and Steve who were always so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Our game drives were unforgettable with Ken, an excellent driver who made sure we saw the Big 5! In Nairobi, John was also a great driver who took care of us very well. One of the highlights of our trip was the nature walk with Dickson – he was such a knowledgeable and engaging guide, making it an incredible experience. A huge thank you to NJ, a very patient owner who always responded to all my queries, and to Nick, who went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort, even checking in with us on our way home. Everything was so wonderful that we ended up extending our stay. We highly recommend Mara Hilltop Camp to anyone visiting the Masai Mara – you will not be disappointed!

Super location with tents spaced out between private winding paths on a hill with a view. Dining area with fireplace and washroom. Tents with washroom also. Great dinner was an added bonus. This was super for a group of work colleagues visiting the park.

I it’s close to the Maasai Mara Reserve and Jacob is more than willing to tell you what activities can be done in the area and even want to accompany you to them. We were in a tent with our family of 5, incl 3 kids. We LOVED the place. Highly recommendable. The staff is simply great, they take care of you from the start until the end. Clean, spacious and comfortable tent/bungalow. The pictures dont do justice to the place.
