By far the most comfortable accommodation we experienced during our trip through Namibia. It’s arranged in such a way that you could practically live there. There was even a fireplace with a built-in grill and firewood ready to use, though unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy it. The property is in a great location on the edge of town, so you don’t have to drive through the center to reach major attractions like Pelican Point or Sandwich Harbour. It’s also close to good restaurants, some are even within easy walking distance. You can also walk to the lagoon.

Located in the centre of Old Swakopmund, The Secret Garden Guesthouse offers simply decorated rooms overlooking the garden. It features a sun terrace. The service was wonderful and they helped book a lovely desert tour on short notice. The rooms were spacious and there was ample parking for the truck. The location was great, very quiet but near enough to walk to shops and restaurants and the sea! If we make it back to Swakopmund in the future, we’ll definitely be back at the Secret Garden.

The breakfast was very good. However i stayed there for a week and had the same breakfast everyday. Maybe do a switch it up a bit. But I loved everything else.

They simply supply everything one would possibly need. All is equipped with love and attention to detail. Nice garden area with a super clean plunge pool. The hosts and staff (the gardener) are super friendly and assisting. Cute and well behaved doggie Simba around to greet all guests. If in Omaruru again, we will definitely stay at Knowhere.
