Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Shardul and Ankita (and others as well) were very helpful and friendly. It is a good place to combine relax with jungle explorations: one day you explore and get impressions (and Shardul will definitely help you to see tigers and other animals), another day you just sit on a terrace relaxing and go for breakfast/lunch/dinner from time to time. Then you can repeat :-) The hosts will help you with everything you want.

Wild Planet Eco Retreat has free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Bhurkīā. Among the various facilities are a bar and water sports facilities. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. What a gem. I have been to Bardiya three times and Wildplanet is king. The rooms are comfortable, the property is beautiful, the village is charming, and the staff welcomes you like family. I seriously love this place. The other reviews will rave about the legend that is Baba and his team and their efforts in conservation and educaiton and talent as guides - but one aspect I don't see discussed is the quality of traveler Wildplanet attracts. Every night I seem to find myself engaged in fireside chats with the most fascinating of people. A constant stream of passionate thinkers, wildlife scientists, curious travelers and wild adventurers. Love it!

Set in Bhurkīā, Nanu's Bardiya Homestay offers accommodation with a patio. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. All rooms are equipped with a terrace with views of the garden. i spent a good stay in that nice family. nanu and his wife kali take care of you very well. she cooks a delicious dahl. And nanu explains you how the safari goes to happen. he will be your guide during the safari. i did safari walking and jeep. i saw tigers/rhinoceros/elephants/snakes/monkeys...). good price!! there are 2 or 3 rooms. usually not a lot of people. big room with mosquito net, fan ceiling and your own bathroom. it was clean. nothing to say. i paid 210€ in all : for 4 safaris walking and 1 safari jeep, meals, free water bottles, room. 8.5 days!! safari begins at 7am and finishes like 6pm. bardia park is good if you want to avoid the tourists like in chitwan. so lets go to nanu homestay if u want a very good experience in a local family instead a ressort expensive and without contact with the owner.

Pappu and his family were wonderful hosts, they were very attentive and cooked fresh, organic and delicious food! Pappu is also a very special guide: he could spot multiple animals that my eye couldn't see at first, among which even a tiger!!! But also several species of deer (swamp deer 😍), otters, and paradise flycatchers were an amazing sighting and we were lucky enough even to see a rhino! I miss the wonders of Bardiya... Thank you Pappu dai for your hospitality and guidance!!

Namaste Bardiya Resort is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Bhurkīā, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. This bed and breakfast features free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the river and garden. Excellent food, peaceful location right on the border of the National Park. Friendly, family-run resort.

There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Staff were so friendly and helpful, the place was so calm and relaxing and food was just amazing home made food!

Set in Bardia, Jungle Base Camp offers accommodation with seating area. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the river and garden. Hukum, the owner and guide, worked so hard to make sure I had a good time. His wife provides the meals, which were excellent and organic (many of the items are from his own garden). He helped me plan an itinerary for my time there. His prices were reasonable for the excursions. I saw a tiger and elephant in the wild as well as many other species of birds and animals. Although it's significantly more expensive than the other day trips, I would recommend the rafting. It was peaceful and a unique way to see Bardiya.

At the accommodation, all rooms are fitted with a seating area. Mr B’s Place, mere steps from Bardiya National Park, is run by a lovely family. It would not be enough to say that the rooms are clean and comfortable, that the food is fresh,delicious and cooked to order when you wish and that the walking safari and the jeep safari are exciting and fun. It is the people that make the difference. The staff is friendly and attentive, ready to help and make your stay just right. Special thanks to Dipok, our jeep safari driver and especially to Loken our knowledge guide who not only made our two safari days special and filled with unique experiences but also took such good care of us during our 4 day stay. Thank you also to Bibek who welcomed us and helped us find a mechanic for our motorcycle malfunction. Highly recommend Mr B’s place for your time in Bardiya. We left our hearts.

Bardia Kingfisher Resort is located in Dhakela, 500 metres from Bardia National Park. Free WiFi access is available in this resort.

The accommodation will provide you with a patio and a seating area. There is also a dining table. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with free toiletries. You can enjoy garden view from the room. Everything was brilliant, from the guided hikes to the help to sort bus travel and more. On the hikes my guide Mahendra went way above what any of the others did to try and spot wildlife but in a eco friendly way. The owner and his wife were very kind and treated me like part of the family. To visit here also take the bus from Kathmandu, it’s an adventure in itself.

The breakfast offers à la carte, continental or Asian options. We had a fabulous stay at Bardia Eco-Lodge. The rooms and gardens are lovely. This is a true rustic eco-lodge blending beautifully with the natural surroundings. The lodge is walking distance to both the Elephant Breeding Centre and the main entrance of Bardia National Park. Our host Madhu, is a certified safari guide and we enjoyed an exceptional day on private jeep safari with him and a driver seeing a tiger, rhinos, many deer and monkeys.
