Such a great stay at the Aikawa, from the moment we arrived at the bus park we were met by lovely hotel staff offering us a free transfer to the hotel, to the moment they dropped us off again they could not do enough for us to ensure we had a pleasant staff. Food was also excellent and the safari with Raj, all organized and booked through the hotel left us with memories to cherish for a lifetime. Highly recommend

This was my second time staying at Tara Guesthouse! Great atmosphere and accommodation from Vicky and his family! They make sure you have a great stay and enjoy your time in the Chitwan National Park area! This is the only place I will stay while in Sauraha! Could not recommend this guesthouse enough!

If you want to have a true experience of the Chitwan National Park with the best local guide who is passionate about the jungle and has a ton of knowledge about the wildlife, then this is the best place for you! Bishnu (the owner of the lodge and guide) is truly amazing! He started answering any questions I had even before I arrived at the area. His wife and his kids are truly adorable and they made me feel like being at home. I went with Bishnu in a half day jeep safari and a full day walking (and boat) safari, as well as some other activities like bird watching. Even if we were not lucky enough to see a tiger, we saw many rhinos, deers and monkeys! Bishnu knows every corner of the forest and he was explaining to us every detail and answering any questions we had. While other guides may show you only the basics without putting much effort, Bishnu is trying his best to find the best spots in the jungle so that the guests could have the greatest experience! One day of my 3 days stay, I was the only guest and Bishnu arranged extra activities especially for me so as not to get bored! Last but not least, the food was fresh and homemade, and it was the best food I had in Nepal! These 3 days full of adventure and great hospitality, was the best part of my trip in Nepal and makes me want to visit Nepal and Bishnu again in the future for sure! Peacock - a family-run hotel se encuentra en Sauraha, a 2 km de Tharu Cultural Museum, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. Our stay here exceeded our expectations! The owner Suraj is the kindest man and he really puts his heart and soul into running his hotel. We stayed on the top floor overlooking the rice field, bed was comfy, shower was nice and hot, and breakfast was delivered to us every morning on the terrace. He helped arrange a very experienced guide to take us on a jungle walk, canoe tour and jeep tour. By far the best is the exhilarating jungle walk where we found 5 rhinos bathing in mud and we just sat and watched them for 15 minutes. All the prices are so reasonable and you get great value! We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Pemsee's Tree Town - Eco Treehouse Hostel está a 4,1 km de Tharu Cultural Museum y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Their team was welcoming and our guide Sooraz very knowledgeable about the jungle in Chitwan National park. He arranged a walking safari that was a highlight of my trip. The food was delicious and accommodation comfortable. Great place to meet people and enjoy time outside!

El Sapana Village Lodge está rodeado de vegetación y se encuentra a 1 minuto en coche del centro de la ciudad de Sauraha. Ofrece servicio de traslado gratuito de ida y vuelta al lodge. The room was comfy. There was even space to hang my hammock, which is always a big gold star. There were lots of communal spaces, like the area for viewing the river and elephants wandering by, the fire circle, the bar, and of course the restaurant. The whole place is set up really well around a lush garden, and it's a short walk into the small village nearby. The staff were so accommodating, ever so friendly, and really went above and beyond. It was also really easy to organise activities to get to know the local culture better, and to see some wildlife. The safari was awesome - saw rhinos, a sloth bear, and more. If I came to Chitwan again, I'd definitely stay here again.
