It was right by the entrance to the hike. The place itself is beautiful, and the facilities were just perfect. The view at night was also insane, and the sunrise was one of the most amazing ones I’ve ever seen!

The host was very friendly, we had a few nice conversations, and he even recommended a beautiful hike nearby. We also shared dinner together and talked about our cultures, which made the stay feel very personal. The property was clean, comfortable, and great value for low-cost travelers. Everything was perfectly fine.

Misfah Heritage House is gelegen in Misfāh, op 49 km van Fort van Nizwa en heeft een tuin, een terras en uitzicht op de bergen. Een prachtige locatie. We zijn enorm warm onthaald met een gratis rondleiding in het dorp door de gastheer. We voelen de passie voor het dorp bij deze man. Lekker eten, waarbij de koekjes met dadels de beste waren die we in Oman hebben gegeten. Wij komen in de toekomst hier zeker terug!

Canyon Rest House Jabal Shams bevindt zich in Al Ḩamrāʼ. Er is privéparkeren beschikbaar op het terrein en gratis WiFi. We were a bit late with our trip to the place, but the owner was waiting us with a fair in the garden. He welcomed us with traditional oman coffee and dates. Highly recommend his place. Very styled furnished rooms. In the kitchen you have the necessary stuff. There is enough place to park two or three cars in the yard and more in front.

The place is so good, comfortable and clean, but the best is their owners. They are the most incredible people I ever meet in a hotel, they will help you whatever you need, they will pick you if you need, they will be in constant contact with you to feel you safe, they are sooo kind and good people that this was one of my best experiences in this travel. You should go there,they are amazing in all ways!!!!!!!! Also they knew I was traveling solo and give their 200% to make me feel safe and good, I really really appreciate, they are amazing!!!!!!!

Al Misfah Hospitality Inn bevindt zich in het dorp Masfat Al-Ibrien, in de staat Al-Hamra, op ongeveer 200 km van Muscat. Toplocatie in bergen, middenin een historisch dorp met het irrigatiesysteen, tuinen en bomen op 3 minuten lopen. Ruine kamer met fantastisch uitzicht, heerlijk vers bereid en gezond eten. De eigenaars zijn de familie waar het dorp naar vernoemd is. Uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam, met veel kennis van de geschiedenis en lokale gebruiken en tradities

The Garden Inn نزل الحدیقة ligt in Nizwa, op 9 minuten lopen van Fort van Nizwa, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. We stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Nizwa and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owner is very nice and welcoming and will do anything to ensure you have a great stay. We loved the building, it’s new yet has an authentic feel to it and still undergoing some renovations however this didn’t impact our stay at all. The room and bathroom was spotless with bedsheets and towels smelling nice and fresh too. The beds were very comfy and we slept perfectly. Big spacious room with a good aircon. Outside there is a garden area, a private drive for cars to park and an upstairs terrace with nice views of the sunset sky. The location is perfect, quiet and calm yet still only 5 minutes away from the fort and touristic areas. If I am ever back in Nizwa I would definitely stay here again.
