Breakfast was amazing. Showers had good hot water that lasted just long enough for a shower on full pressure (turn down the pressure and I’m sure it lasts much longer) Staff was great. Nancy was very helpful even though she couldn’t really speak English (and my Spanish is worst than her English. She did speak almost fluent French). But husband Alfredo was great with English and helping me plan my stay.

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. beautiful surroundings, in the nature, very quiet but only a short walk from the village ( if you need a store), they prepare really tasty food and bread ( they also have their own vegetable garden ), friendly staff and owners that help you with everything, bungalows are spacious, two flloor with gallery, bright and nicely decorated, huge bathroom, view over Gocta from the upper windows, comfy terasse and nice gardens all around, they also brought us tea with sweets in the afternoon for no extra charge, we were two families with teenage kids and all loved the place.

Boasting a garden, Eco Albergue Azul is set in Cuispes and also provides a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. Free private parking is available and the hostel also features bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. It’s a very relaxt place. Martien, the temporary owner, is very welcoming and friendly guy and he did everything he could to give us a good time at the hostel.

They provide all the information needed, both for independent traveler and for tours. The place is nice and clean, walking distance from the center. One of my best stays in Peru, very recommended

Chachapoyas Airport is 5 km away. Really nice place to stay. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. The hostel has a lot of community rooms where to hang out and relax. The area is quiet and shops are close. Very good time with a lot of nice travellers I met there!
