I loved the design and the rooms, super comfortable and was upgraded to a room with a bath, very welcomed after some days hiking. The breakfast was outstanding, with a very friendly staff member meeting the needs of her clients.

Every unit has a kettle, a private bathroom and free WiFi, while certain rooms include a terrace and some have mountain views. At the apartment complex, the units include bed linen and towels. Very clean and functional, good views to the mountains, nice staff (thank you Andreas). We enjoyed our stay.

This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. We can see Aurora right at River Camp when the weather is good. In winter, we can walk to Ice Hotel through the iced river and it's pretty safe. There's free shuttle service from airport to River Camp and the host is really friendly.

Arctic Colors Northern Lights Apartments features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Porjus. Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The apartment has family rooms. Great place to catch up some breath on the long haul

Set in Riksgränsen, 43 km from Ofoten Museum, Niehku Mountain Villa offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The accommodation provides ski storage space, as well as a bar and massage services. The property has a sauna and free WiFi. Niehku Mountain Villa is truly an unique place. The views from the hotel are spectacular and the building and its history are one of a kind. The staff and the service in the hotel were excellent. They made our stay very pleasant.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Featuring a restaurant, the property also has free bikes, as well as a fitness centre and a sauna. The property is non-smoking and is set 3.7 km from Kiruna Bus Station. Very convenient stopover, for a one day visit on the way to Abisko

Guests can enjoy a complimentary entrance ticket to the IceHotel. The area around the property is popular for outdoor winter activities such as dog sledding, reindeer sled excursions, and snowmobile tours. The staff will also be happy to arrange activities such as river rafting, hiking, and fishing. During summer season, guests will experience midnight sun. In the winter, guests can enjoy northern lights if lucky. We stayed in a warm room that had everything that we needed. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and had a good spread. We could book dog sledding through hotel's website, which was excellent - we had an experience of lifetime.

The Aurora Spa can be accessed for a surcharge. Ski tracks and hiking trails are right next door. Snowmobiling, ice fishing and dog sledding are popular in winter. Summer leisure options include horse riding, guided city tours and hiking. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this apartment! The accommodation was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and in a fantastic location. We were lucky enough to witness the aurora borealis for the first time here, which made our experience even more special. The place offers a wide variety of tours and activities, making it easy to explore the surroundings. Breakfast was also delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The staff was incredibly kind and professional. We did have one issue—due to a mistake on Booking.com’s end, our spa reservation was canceled without our knowledge. This is something that should be improved, as the issue could have been resolved before it became a problem. However, the staff handled it in the best possible way. They compensated us with free cross-country ski rentals, complimentary souvenirs, and snacks, which was a really thoughtful gesture. The agent on duty at the time was extremely polite and helpful, turning an unfortunate situation into a positive experience that actually enhanced our trip. Because of the exceptional service and the overall experience, we will definitely return and book the same apartment again. Highly recommended!

Reindeer Lodge features a sauna and free private parking, and is within 23 km of Kiruna Train Station and 20 km of Kiruna Bus Station.

Buffet and continental breakfast options are available at the lodge. Quiet and cosy stay in the lapland.  It's equipped with a great wood sauna.  Breakfast was nice at their teepee style lodge.  We also had free access to the nearby Sami museum in Jukkasjärvi, which was very interesting and informative.
