The hostress was so nice that felt like going to stay on your friends house. Very cossy and friendly place, with extra care for all the details. Nice rooms, enough space, well equipped bathroom. Kids loved the decoration (even if kids dont really care about these stuff) and of course the hostess cats, that were around playing.

Paa & Michaels Resort tiene vistas a la montaña y se encuentra en Ban San Sai Ngam. Cuenta con restaurante, salón de uso común, bar, jardín, piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año y terraza. The family who runs the place are the sweetest. I was initially supposed to stay for 3 nights but extended it for 3 nights more. Everyone I met also had the same situation cause they loved the place and the family so much. I had a lovely time during New Year’s Eve with the family. This was one of the best new years I ever had. Every night sitting with the family by the fire place was one of the highlights of my stay. We also cooked together one of the nights cause they wanted to try traditional Turkish food. They are very open minded and super nice people. If you want to enjoy nature and experience Thai culture this is a place to stay. I think I will be back at a certain point.

Viang Yonok Hotel, Restaurant, Sports Club está en Chiang Saen, a 18 km de Museo del Opio del parque del Triángulo de Oro, y dispone de alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis,... The country style cottages have a vintage interior which makes the stay extra special. The location is excellent for birdwatching as well as visiting the Golden triangle. The breakfast is excellent and made to order. Staff and owner super friendly.

Panna Kalong, que cuenta con bicicletas gratis y jardín, dispone de alojamiento en Chiang Khong con wifi gratis y vistas a la montaña. A cinco minutos del cruce de frontera. El dueño te va a buscar a donde te deje tu transporte a Chiang Khong y te lleva al otro día al cruce, todo incluido en el precio del alojamiento. Además te explica todo sobre los trámites fronterizos en caso que no tengas idea. Habitaciones limpias y cómodas con aire acondicionado. Tienen un restaurante a 50mts donde cenar.

The Garden House, que tiene vistas al jardín, ofrece alojamiento con terraza y balcón a unos 3,4 km de Mercadillo nocturno del sábado de Chiang Rai. Reasonably stocked fridge, better than an average hotel. Of course you need to share the cost to replenish it. Fully furnished property, fully equipped kitchen even with a washer and a dryer. A pouch of liquid detergent was there ready for us. I didn't check if it had a dish washer as we didn't need one. Full set of cutlery and table ware but we only found out in the last minutes as we didn't have enough time to check all the amenities. A perfect residential area as we preferred. If you drive it is a perfect 4 bedroom homestay for the price. Basically, it is a second home and has everything you need for your stay. Now, I am sitting in a hotel room of another town and regretting not staying in a homestay as there is no ice or ice tray in the hotel's measly fridge. 😕

ซือรี ก๊ะฉิ - Suri Kachi ที่พักดอยช้าง está en Ban Huai Khai, a 31 km de Templo Blanco de Chiang Rai (Wat Rong Khun) y a 40 km de Torre del Reloj de Chiang Rai. Brilliant farm stay, the stuff is really amazing and polite and of course, very helpful, I recommend this place for a peaceful stay between the mountains of Doi Chang 👌

The Estretto Resort, que se encuentra a 23 km de Estatua del Rey Mengrai y a 24 km de Wat Phra Singh, ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño privado en Chiang Rai. Large clean room, good bathroom with good water pressure. Very good restaurant.

Rai Phuchat está en Ban Pa Thon y cuenta con vistas a la montaña, piscina al aire libre, jardín, terraza y bar. La habitación en casa particular ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis. This place is a veritable paradise, so much so that we completely lost track of time at the pool and ended up checking out late. No one was rushing us out or reminding us, just letting us relax and no charge for the late check out. We went during their low season so they kindly and without prompting upgraded our family to their lovely Thai style wood house villa where we enjoyed the cool country air as we drank and ate with old friends. I am looking forward to staying here on our next trip.

Sithaya Garden House @14 se encuentra a 10 km de Wat Phra Singh y ofrece jardín y salón de uso común, así como alojamiento con aire acondicionado, balcón y wifi gratis. Amazing location in the middle of nowhere. Soooo beautiful house with all commodities and so very clean.
