Koh Chang is a beautiful island—not only is the island itself lovely but so are the people who live there. No exception at Lonely Groove: Lemon and her sister were so happy, kind and caring, their big smiles and warmth reminded me of being at home with my mom. I felt safe and comfortable my entire stay. I loved chatting to them before heading out to explore or after coming back from a long day in the sun. Some notes: the bungalows are further inland which means less foot traffic and noise from other hotels/bars; it's peaceful, quiet and clean; the beach is less than five minutes away (stop by all cafes/restaurants on the way to/from the beach!); my bungalow was modest and roomy, had all the necessities, including a mosquito net, and aircon didn't cost much more; hammock on the outside patio; watch out for monkeys who want to take your food! I would love to come back.

Set in Bailan Bay on the island of Koh Chang only 400 metres from Lisca beach, Harley Moon boasts an outdoor pool and a sun terrace. Just a couple minutes walk to the closest beach or you can jump on a taxi or scooter and visit other beaches around the island. Also walking distance to many great restaurants, some just across the street. The bungalow was perfect for us and the host, Christian, is very friendly and more than helpful. We went on an all-day snorkeling trip he arranged for us and had a great time. Would definitely stay here again!

The villa provided the most amazing secluded luxury, while being close to the beach. All the details are so perfectly curated - this is by far the best place we have stayed in Thailand! Stayed here for 2 weeks and loved every minute of it. New bungalows with adjacent small terraces, spacious and clean. Michael is a great host, effortlessly making you feel like you are at home. I loved the tiny details the most: mosquito nets on all windows, bedside lamp, welcome drinks, a broom so you can get rid of the sand any time, a small hose to wash your feet before you step on the terrace. He offered a cleaning 2 times in the 14 days, perfectly timed always. The area was great: quiet but walking distance to the beach and the night market, restaurants and cafes nearby. I couldn’t recommend this place more ❤️

Close to beaches. Well stocked with cutlery and plates, etc. lovely outdoor seating area, and showers were a particular highlight! Transport around island not as difficult without a vehicle as expected and area is very quiet and relaxing (great for a post-BKK recharge). Staff very friendly and helpful and told us about the local area and recommendations on where to go.
