But our favourite thing was the staff, they went above and beyond to help us. I would like to shout out ‘sea games’ (nickname) who was one of the nicest people we have ever met. He helped us get to places if we was unable to, always made sure we had everything we needed, and we even went on a night out with him and had an unforgettable night, one of our favourite memories whilst travelling! So thank you so much, to all of the staff who were absolutely amazing!!

The inside was nicely decorated, clean and very cute. The bed was comfortable. The owner was extremely kind and generous. Since I couldn’t drive a motor bike she offered to drive me where I wanted to go each day and pick me up. She even took me places that she wanted to recommend to me or to take pictures of me there.

The bungalow are spacious and really confortable , really the best we had in Ko Kood so far and we stayed here a long time … the family is indeed very very kind , willing to help eventhough communication is not easy in English , it worked well with translator and the younger daughter who is learning English … really such a sweet and caring family. Super clean, the lady comes every two days to change towels and clean… breakfast was a bonus with eggs , toast, fruits and coffee every morning , was great great great, so sad we had to lesve

Situated 2.3 km from Klong Chao Beach and 8.9 km from Klong Chao Waterfall, Baan Sangchan in Ko Kood features air-conditioned accommodation with views of the inner courtyard and free WiFi. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Loved our stay here! A bit further away from the beaches but we rented a motorbike at the accommodation which was very affordable, in very good condition and was the best way to see all the different beaches on the island. Highly recommend! The owner also arranged everything for us from taxi’s to the ferry and a snorkelling trip. He even lent us his sister’s motorbike on the first night because all the other ones were already rented by other customers. Snorkelling trip was beautiful, a good price, friendly captain and with a small group. Rooms are as the photos. It’s not new but it’s all very clean and is good value for the money. You can tell that they really want you to have a good stay and work very hard to accommodate you in what you need. Hope to come back soon!

Offering a garden and garden view, Hostel Ko Kut เที่ยว&นอน is situated in Ko Kood, 1.1 km from Klong Chao Beach and 1.2 km from Ao Noi Beach. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Outdoor seating is also available at the guest house. We originally booked just two nights because we were a bit unsure – mainly due to the limited number of reviews and the fact that it’s called a “hostel.” But we ended up extending our stay by another four nights and had a wonderful time! The few reviews are simply because the place only opened last year. The term “hostel” is actually a bit misleading – there are just three private single rooms (with shared bathrooms), so it’s much quieter and more private than you might expect. The host also plans to build a shared dorm on the other side of the building in the future. One of the best things is the price – it’s very affordable compared to most other places on Koh Kood. Despite the low cost, everything was always clean, especially the bathroom. The host was super friendly and always responded quickly to messages. There’s a fridge and a small kitchenette with dishes downstairs in the shared area. Each room has a shelf for your stuff and a fan, and the doors are fitted with extra insect screens. (If you’re sensitive to bugs, you might want to bring a mosquito net – there’s room to hang one over the bed.) We had one of the two rooms upstairs and loved the terrace – it was perfect for hanging our hammock and gym rings, and we had plenty of space to dry clothes. Every evening, a few tokay geckos would show up, which – as you might know – are considered good luck in Thailand! The location is also great – relatively quiet, with a few restaurants, small shops, a laundry, and a pharmacy all nearby. Ao Taphao Beach is just 1.5 km away, and the whole island is easy to explore by scooter, which you can rent directly from the host at a fair price. In short: this is a budget-friendly place that delivers exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for more luxury, you’ll probably need to spend a bit more. But for what it is, we thought it was great – and we really don’t understand the negative reviews!

Klong Chao Beach is 1.9 km from the apartment and Ao Tapao Beach is 2.5 km away. We had an amazing time here! The cozy little house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It's just a few minutes' walk to the stunning beach, where we spent hours.. The area around the house is so serene and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Definitely a little hidden gem and a place we highly recommend if you're looking for a unique stay on Koh Kood.
