Wycliffˋs Eco Resort is gelegen in Kabale en biedt accommodatie met gratis privéparkeren. The property is located in an idyllic setting just on the shore of Lake Bunyonyi. The view from the property is breathtaking. The moment you arrive at the Villa you realize how quiet and peaceful it is. The mattress was new and comfortable and there is a mosquito net. Wycliffe the owner and his family will make sure you feel at home, he helped me even when I was sick in the stomach, he took me to the clinic and waited there with me until I was done. The property is around 8 km from Kabale town and there is a private motorcycle taxi service on demand for 20000 shillings, both ways. There are many activities to be done including kayaking and visiting the local communities provided by Wycliffe. Also they prepare delicious meals at the Villa. One thing that I appreciated is Wycliffes effort to help the local communities. Some of the revenues of the Villa go to the poorest. Thank you so much for helping me out in time of need 💕

Onverwachtse boottocht over het meer naar het resort was een cadeautje. Auto kon veilig geparkeerd worden. Eigenaar Edward komt je persoonlijk halen. Eten vers en heel goed. Vriendelijke personeel. De rust en het uitzicht zijn geweldig.

Byoona Amagara at Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de bergen, een tuin, een privéstrand, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een bar. Er is gratis WiFi. Everything was beyond perfect. I love the seclusion of the island. The first highlight is the ride to the boat pier and the boat ride to the island through Lake Bunyonyi. The welcome by the staff is warm and honest. The property is fully self-sustaining, so if you're not a fan of outdoor latrines, be prepared ;) Hot showers are available but need about an hour preparation time. The staff really goes out of their way to accommodate all your wishes and make you feel right at home. I recommend staying in their geo domes as it is an experience you will never forget. The menu at their "canteen" is a dream for vegetarians. Just the perfect place to relax and switch off for a few days. They organize tours to other islands as well, which I didn't try as I just wanted to relax for a few days before heading to the hustling streets of Kampala. They also organized a gorilla track for me in Bwindi at very short notice, which they made into the perfect day and memorable experience. Thanks again for everything 🙏

Birdnest Resort heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een terras en een bar in Kabale. Het resort heeft een sauna, roomservice en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. We have been there 3 nights. We changed a room in the middle ( an upgrade ) both rooms were great ( number 7 was the best). The hotel has an amazing view, a serine environment with nice sitting areas where you can sit and eat/ have a drink in front of the view. Service was excellent and everybody were so nice and helpfull.We took the hotel kayaks to explore the lake (free for guest's use).

Boat and Kanu cruises around the lake if you need something to do at reasonable prices. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spaceous and clean. Wifi the best we had on the whole trip in Uganda.

Could have spend all day just sitting there and enjoy the beauty of it all. Pure joy.
