Location and friendly staff.

Good location. Volunteers really helpful and friendly and the dogs were an amazing surprise.

Perfect location for walking the old town, museums, palacios etc; breakfast was decent, if very repetitive; a couple of lovely sunrises whilst having breakfast; the view from the room, albeit a little industrial; good in room wifi and aircon; the bottled water provided.

The staff and the location were nice. Loads of dogs and cats (which is positive if you like them).

Great location, two blocks from the waterfront and central to the old city. Several nice design touches in the room. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and quite helpful staff. My son got bit by a dog in Buenos Aires and needed to get his third rabies vaccine in Montevideo. The staff made phone calls for us and found out the hospital we needed to visit to get his vaccine and the hours they were open for this. She was a real life-saver in a complicated situation for us. Would gladly stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms, faces the beach and lovely to get out and walk. Good breakfast if one pays USD 11, and if one only wants a cup of freshly brewed Lavazza, it's available at the restaurant/cafe for USD 3. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner - there's a limited but good menu for vegetarians. Pet friendly, too.

The location was great and the room has a very nice view. The room and the bathroom were very comfortable. The bed was amazingly comfortable! The breakfast was good but when you stay several days end being too repetitive.
