Homestead Bed and Breakfast is 12 km from Addo Elephant National Park. It offers a lush garden, splash pool and a shared guest lounge. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Breakfast was perfect, room very good - much more than was required for a few hours sleep (we were never going to spend much time in the rooms). Location was good for the purpose. Ronnie and Hildelene took a personal interest in the well-being of their guests. The activities (game drives) on offer were exceptional and took all our time. I wish I had known they are offering these, before I booked a full day with 'Get my guide'.

Jennifer and her team were great. I stayed in the very comfortable Penthouse suite upstairs, and it had everything I needed for my stay. The breakfasts in the morning were top notch, always served with a smile and a friendly chat. It is close to the Addo Gate and the Taste of Africa Restaurant is on the doorstep, with good food and a good vibe. I will definitely make use of this accommodation again when I visit Colchester again.

Mountain-top resort surrounded by savannah, Zuurberg provides panoramic views of Addo Elephant National Park. It features an outdoor pool and an array of outdoor activities. We absolutely loved our stay at Zuurberg, and cannot recommend the place enough for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to stay near Addo Elephant Park. The surroundings of the property are gorgeous, nestled in the mountains, and the property itself is also beautiful. Our bedroom looked just like the photos and was very comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Customer service was impeccable and we felt welcome and well looked after from arrival. Alexandra was superb and helped us not only with information about our stay but also with extra tips for our ongoing journey. All the staff were lovely and always ready to help. We also did a whole day game drive and an elephant encounter, both experiences organized by the property and both excellent. Zuurberg was fantastic and we look forward to coming back!

Our family had the most pleasant stay! James & Bela are great hosts and were super accommodating and helpful. The two rooms are set up for everything you might need to make your stay comfortable and able to 100% self cater. It is also exceptionally clean and the beds super comfy. We will definitely be back again!

This property has an excellent location near Addo National Park (main park south gate and the national park's beach gate). It is also within walking distance (two buildings down) from a Spar and petrol station. The house is very large and had everything we needed. The Wifi, television, and kitchen appliances worked well.
