Staff was very friendly and helful. Breakfast was so yummy with a big variety and the guy who served us so happy and cheerful. Room beautiful and mattress and pillows were special. Netflix a nice bonus and the swimming pool sauna and steam room the cherry on top.

La Quinta Hostel Bar is located in La Barra, Punta del Este. The establishment is located 10 km from downtown Punta del Este and "Los Dedos" beach, 5 km from Manantiales and 20 km from José Ignacio. Very nice staff and especially welcoming at our arrival. Nice and calm atmosphere throughout our stay (in November). Good room with everything you need. A variety of board games and such available. Definitely would come back and can hence be recommended!

We went kitesurfing with Kitesurf Uruguay, went to laguna Garzón and José Ignacio, to the small town nearby, etc. The overall experience was amazing. Casagrande is a place that really thinks about their guests. They also offer additional services (restaurant and laundromat inside the hotel, bikes for rent, supermarket 1 min walk).
