Great hospitality by Marian and her son Andre, we were family of four for two weeks and stayed at a two bedroom and two bathrooms apartment with a stunning view from our three balconies of mountains and tobacco field.
Rooms are clean and cozy, and beds are comfortable.
At their restaurant la Tulipa they serve delicious hot sandwiches and evening pizza, and a great menu for meals by choice.
Also, the local bus stop.is right near the Aparthotel and for just 20 sent we had a ride to the center of Ordino from our Arans area. From Ordino there's an L6 yellow bus going to Andorra la Vella every 30 minutes for just 1,90 euro.
We'd love to come back to Arans la Tulipa when again in Andorra. Just opposite the Aparthotel there's a picturesque walking path up to El Serrat with modern scalpures, mountain river, meadows, horses, and sheep.

The owners are some of the most pleasant people we have ever met, which gave our stay the right tone from the start. Our apartment had everything you need to live, make your own food, and so on. The view from our stay way also very nice, with a cute creek running just behind the house and mountains all around. It was very easy to get to lots of beautiful outdoor places from the apartment (mountains, ski resorts & lookouts, national parks, sightseeing), although there were plenty of walks directly from the property. We would absolutely stay there again.

I liked Everything about this accomadation, the views are amazing and I sat on my balcony admiring the view and even took photos of the stars above the mountains in the middle of the night.
The landlord is very friendly and made me feel very welcome.
Great place to stay!
Hopefully I will be back one day.

Ordino is a picture postcard village, with a number of...
Ordino is a picture postcard village, with a number of smaller villages and hamlets dotted all the way up the valley towards the Arcalis ski area.
Each village/hamlet has its own local bar(s) and restaurant(s). Ordino being larger has a few more. The town of La Massana is 2 km from Ordino and is well provided for shopping and nightlife options.
The skiing and snowboarding at Arcalis is excellent. Being north-facing and above 8000 feet the season generally lasts longer than the other Andorran areas. Facilities are first class.
Runs cater from complete beginner to freeride expert and much in between. It's a great wee ski area in a beautiful part of the world.
Summertime offers myriad hillwalking and trekking routes.
