First off all very friendly and professional staff. The location is nice just in front some lovely beaches. Beds are comfortable, rooms spacious and badroom luxurious. Swimming pool with great views and small but decent gym.

Fantastic service, location and modern building. There was an issue with the bathrooms, but this was quickly resolved. The host made it his priority to make sure that everything was as we wanted. The front reception was kind and one gal spoke fluently English. I absolutely would stay here again!

Casa Daupi is very well located—just about a 30-minute walk to most main attractions. The outdoor area and café are absolutely amazing. We tried most of the six breakfast options, and they were all excellent, with high-quality ingredients. While the room could benefit from a few improvements, our overall stay was superb. The bed was especially comfortable. It was lovely to visit Mar del Plata again after so many years—such a great gastronomic scene. We had some truly wonderful days in La Feliz.

This hotel totally exceeded our expectations. Comfortable beds, quiet room, hot shower (yes it is a bit small but despite other reviews saying the whole bathroom got soaked, it didn’t. If you shut the shower curtain properly the water stays in the shower!), great location (just a five minute (2 blocks) walk to the beach and lots of restaurants and shops), lovely staff, secure parking for our motorcycles AND the best breakfast we have had in the whole of Argentina! (we’ve been down to Ushuaia along the west of the country and back up the east) - fresh fruit (not out of a tin!), pastries, muesli and nuts, yogurts, toast, scrambled eggs, ham and cheese croissants etc etc. There was so much choice. And a fabulous extra I haven’t seen anywhere else - a little room attached to your bedroom, solely for your use, with a sink and a drying rack so that you can rinse your beach wear or do some hand washing and have somewhere to dry it. Absolutely brilliant.

The room was huge, and very comfortable. The bathroom was big enough as well, with ton of amenities. The location is great either if you wanna go to the beach, or take a walk around the city center. I haven't tried the gym, but it was nice to know it was available in case I wanted to do some exercise. The swimming pool area is nice, and it even has some seats to stay there for longer to enjoy the day.

Mar del Plata is a beautiful seaside resort.

Mar del Plata is a beautiful seaside resort. Great infrastructure and superior beaches. There is a lot to do and see as well as enjoy the beaches. Tons of good restaurants to cater for all tastes. And the people are very friendly.

It's still a village for now.

It's still a village for now. Not too many buildings, a supermarket and a grocery, a few backeries, an enpanadas and pizza store, a few shops and some bars/restaurants. The beach, all sandy, is very wide, and stretches as far as eyes can see.

It's one of the best beaches in Argentina due to it's environment and design. If you enjoy walking in the woods and visiting golden sand beaches this is the place for you. The shopping area is very original it has a Swiss-Euro rustic vibe.

I lived in Mar del Plata for almost 10 years until I moved out. It's a wonderful city, with nice beaches and a good range of options for activities to do. I'd say it's one of the most popular places to go for vacations during summer. Probably the reason behind it it's the history and its short distance to Buenos Aires. It has the perfect blend between a big city, and nature. If you are thinking to go to the city just because of the beach and nothing else, then I'd suggest to look for a less crowded and cheaper option, which will probably has a better beach as well, like Necochea.
