The hotel has a personality originating from a 17th-century hunting lodge. Many additions and modernisations were made, like a new sauna or bar downstairs and a warm central fireplace in the hall. Most of the hotel only operates during the skiing season. It seems like a miracle that they can retain and motivate their staff for only a couple of months of the year. The receptionist and the general manager, who makes his rounds to all breakfast tables daily, were extremely friendly, as is most of the service staff. Some staff don't speak English or German, and misunderstandings can arise. Nevertheless, 90% of the team was super helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is enormous and did not get boring during an eight-day stay.

The Hotel Alpenrose sport & aktiv is just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Kühtai and offers direct ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes of the ski area.

Loved our stay at the Alpenrose. Room was large, bed was comfortable, breakfast and dinner buffets were very good, with daily changes to menu. But the best thing was the amazing staff. From the front desk, to serving staff, cleaners, bar staff, sauna massage staff, everyone was very professional, helpful and friendly. No question was too hard and went out of their way to provide assistance. Will definitely stay here again next time in Austria.

Located right next to the slopes of the Kühtai ski area, VAYA Kühtai offers a spa area with a large indoor pool and panoramic views over the Stubai Alps. Some rooms have a balcony.

Fantastic location to ski directly to and from the hotel. Excellent breakfast and dinner, comfy quiet room and great wellness area. Nothing one could complain about. Absolutely perfect.

Perfect ski in ski out location. Amazing views across to the dreiseen slopes. Centrally located in village for restaurants, ski hire and ski schools. Apartment really well appointed and has everything we needed. We will be coming back for sure. Just perfect!

Nice, modern appartment in the centre of the quiet village. Walks nearby, good playpark nearby. Guest card with good discounts or even free rides with lifts included from 2/3 night's stay (we used the free lift in 2 places and used discount for entry to nearby lake, we stayed in the summer).
