Breakfast was great, it was not some grand european breakfast. But it had all you need to have variety and start your day with the right food and full stomach. The hotel staff was great, extremely attentive and asked us every day if everything is alright or if they can do anything for us. The lady at the breakfasts was also very nice. The hotel is a great place if you want to stay in local village with amazing view on the alps and nice wellness.

We had the full offer so we had 3 times per day meals, 2 pools, Sauna, Steam room, SPA… all can be used anytime until 21:00. The staff were so nice. You have parking free for car. You can do hikes around the hotel. You have many lakes that you can go swim. And many more things… We loved!

Great hotel, everything is so nice and well though-through. Everything is brand new, it is modern but very cosy and traditional at the same time. I stayed in the suite which was a very big room. There are also 3 restaurants in the hotel, tried the Austrian and Japanese ones and they were very good. Breakfast is excellent, many options and good quality of food. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I totally enjoyed my stay and the staff did a great job helping it to be relaxing and enjoyable. The food was excellent and a great value for the money. The view was gorgeous. I just wish we could have stayed for 3 nights instead of 1. The pool, sauna's, and steam room were fantastic.

Everything was perfect. An idyllic challet in the middle od the woods, 10 minutes’ drive from Tamsweg center. The room was wonderful for a short stay, very clean and stylish. Exactly as presented in the photos of the property. It was warm and cosy with an absolutely gorgeous view of the mountain, trees and snow. You can borrow a sleigh for free and enjoy with your children for there is a lot of snow in winter. The breakfast was delicious. The personnel is very professional and a pleasure to interact with. There is no GSM signal or WiFi so it’s good to have some books and board-games with you. Great for screen-free time. I highly recommend it and I certainly wish to return. Thank you for a wonderful time both parents and children enjoyed it so much!

We were on our road back home and decided to do sleepover, this hotel exceeded our expectation. Location was great in mountains, everything perfectly clean and staff very friendly. In the end we regretted that it was only one night but we will definitely come back. Extra plus for dogs being allowed in breakfast room!

Everything was so good. Sandra, the "hausfrau" was very helpfull and friendly. The apartment was nearly new and very clean, all over the place. No trasch in the area and a beautifull wiev to the valley an the mountains.

Great restaurants, worth booking a table if you're in a larger group and they open later in the evening, like 5-6pm. Various menu options including vegan/vegetarian. On the slopes the bars are playing very loud music but serve quickly so you don't wait too long.

St. Michael im Lungau is a lovely Alpine town with amazing mountain views and a really relaxed vibe. It’s easy to get to from the A10, and you’ll find everything you need there – shops, restaurants, and good access to nearby cable cars and hiking trails. A great base for exploring the Lungau region.

Mauterndorf is a beautiful little town in the Austrian Alps with a peaceful, timeless charm. Its medieval castle and traditional houses make it feel like a step back in time. Especially in the evening light, the town becomes wonderfully atmospheric—quiet, romantic, and full of character.

Very nice B&B with great attention to detail and quality! The interior of the rooms is well-done and the whole property is very clean. The breakfast selection is very rich and the quality of the food served is excellent. Max is a great host, making sure to accommodate all our needs and serving as a great companion for a chat after a day of skiing. I highly recommend the property!

Enjoyed the view from the walking path above the village and we were amazed at how many nordic walking and mountain bike paths there were. Loved the village's atmosphere with the church, the old buildings and the authentic restaurants.

It is a compact city, once you are in the center you can access all the popular stores/supermarkets by walk. Parking was also not a problem, 1.5 hours you can stop without paying. It is a classical old small city. They have a lot of locally produced tasty products. There is a nice church on the hill, worth to visit.

It is a very beautiful and quiet town.

It is a very beautiful and quiet town. Beautiful views of the mountains. Ideal for hiking. There is a very nice river that runs parallel to the main road. Maybe there should be an ice cream parlor in the summer. That would be nice.

My visit was for Krameterhof an inspirational project started by Sepp Holzers now run by his son. See the planetary potential of permaculture in action on their courses I had brought bread cheese and fruit with me so did not eat out. There is a pizzeria The transport links were good. I walked as much as I could but locals freely offered assistance. Walking in the hills is excellent

If you want your skiing winter experience to be idyllic, be sure to book a room right here. Hotel on the trail + extraordinary food offer (breakfast, lunch, mid-meal and dinner) + activities and content for the youngest and super-friendly staff will make your annual event unforgettable. The possibility of leaving the hotel directly on the ski lift and already in the first slope to feel the perfect tracks or powder trails, simply magical. Plus, while Obertauern is covered in natural snow, other surrounding ski resorts don't offer nearly as much satisfaction.

I have no Idea, i was skiing all day, in the evening in restaurants outside Sankt Micheal, but I was only there 4 days, and had arrangements for apre-ski and restaurant visit with a group of 22 people arranged inside Katsberg-hohe, I left Sankt Micheal, in the morning at 8:00 and returned in the evening after 20:00 to 21:00. Saw nothing of Sankt Micheal. But I am sure it is all there. It was my choice to stay there; and knew i was commuting up and down to "Katsberg-hohe" which is perfectly do-able, with the right car and no extreme weather. If the weather would not allow the 11 minute trip, you can always start skiing from St. Margareta, which is probably only needed on a hand-full of days per ski-season. and on top of katsberg-hohe, you can easily ski in surrounding ski-areas (Katsberg-hohe), Mautendorf, Gross-eck-Speier-Eck, or Aineck or "Obertauren". And "Obertauren" is only a 20 -to-25 minutes drive (if your willing to get into you're car) but hey it is was only (3) EUR on top the price of the local skipass to include "Obertauren": good value for money, close by, and it is "pretty snow sin the top (3) ski areas of Austria. Ad you are in a very tourist friendly pension for half the price as staying "Obertauren".
