I loved absolutely everything about this accommodation, there aren't enough words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay here. The couple who owns it is very charming and has put so much effort into it, the attention to detail is amazing. There are beautiful wild flower bouquets everywhere, there is the sound of running water outside, everything is green and beautiful, with multiple little corners to sit and relax. Everything inside the room is made of linen, which is an experience in itself, there are his/hers sinks in the bathroom which were very convenient, and the bath products have very relaxing smells. There are multiple windows in the room and all of them have beautiful views of the village and the mountains. There is also a great Bluetooth speaker for connecting your music, a coffee machine and welcome snacks. The area itself is car-free and quiet, with picturesque little streets in every direction, and two nice churches a five minute walk away. It's all very idyllic and relaxing. Breakfast is served in a beautiful room and consists of both a buffet, and eggs cooked to your liking. There is a server who looks after you and will bring you coffee/drinks, it's all very fancy. The hotel restaurant does really good food, everything from the home-made bread and butters to the dessert were perfectly done. Their creme-brule is not to be missed! The staff is also very friendly and look after you. Definitely worth booking dinner here. This accommodation was the highlight of our trip, we can't wait to go back.

Cheese & chutney offer was my favourite. Personal touch is everywhere: welcome letter, beach bag with bath rob & slippers and hiking bag to use during stay!     At first, it was difficult to find the parking place, because not the name of the Hotel was written in the parking area, but we got the information from reception we parked in the right place. The staff was very helpful, they immediately prepared the sommer card and handed over the magnetic card. Our room was on the second floor, which we approached on foot. A small greeting card with our name was waiting for us in the room. In the entire room was cleanliness and sophisticated clean design everywhere. They paid attention to every little detail in the design. There were space for coats, shoes, and clothes in the closet. There was also a small refrigerator here. To the left behind the door was the bathroom with a large shower and toilet. The sink was separated from the bedroom, in front of the bathroom. There were also towels, hand soap, tissue, a large mirror with LED lighting, a trash can and a radiator for drying towels. Full equipment. In the bedroom there is a giant-sized bed, which was very comfortable, with LED lighting under the bed and at the headboard. We slept well in bed. The windows and curtains were large and let in a lot of light and the view of the mountains was beautiful. At breakfast, there was a huge selection of everything, fresh spicy cheeses, fruits, salami, food specialties, bacon, fish, eggs, fresh different types of bread, orange juice, wine. Our table was reserved for us at breakfast with our name. While we were having breakfast, we could read their offer for daytime activities depending on the weather, or we could also see the dinner offer. Of course all offer was refreshed every day. The hotel also has a wellness department, unfortunately we didn't try it now, but we will next time. All parts of the hotel were simply wonderfully beautiful and sophisticated, we are completely satisfied with the breakfast and everything. If we are in the area, we will visit the hotel again.

    We've stayed at this property many times and again were so pleased with the service. I like to modern look and feel of the hotel and that it's so central in Schladming. Amazing staff, really engaging and so keen to help and make us feel welcome again. We stayed with our primary school-aged son and the room was perfect with the sofa beautifully made up as a third bed. Really appreciated that.

    Loved everything about the hotel. Don't feel they made enough of the underground links between the buildings. So easy to get to the spa. Food options were plentiful and everything delicious. Ten steps from the room to the piste. Couldn't ask for anything more.

    We didn't eat out much as accomodation had a very well equipped kitchen. Public transport was punctual and free with a Sommer Card provided by our hosts. All lift passes that we used were free also. The only cost was a booking fee for getting up to the Schladming Galcier. (PREPARE TO QUE FOR THIS ONE). Be aware that shops are closed for religious holidays etc.

    One of the most beautiful places on this planet.

    One of the most beautiful places on this planet. Easy to get around with the Ramsau am Dachstein Summercard and the bus and gondola systems. Loved the gondola to the top and the Sky walk, the Stairway to Heaven and the Stairway to Nothingness. Also liked Rittisberg and its attractions such as the Flyline, toboggan and High Ropes. The Go Karting down 7 kms of the Planai mountain was also fun

    Nice, quiet place, however all services and amenities available. Everything within walking distance. Great place to discover Enns valley. First class skiing slopes 15-30min drive away, bus connection also available. Lovely outdoor swimming pool in summer.

    Schladming is not interesting place, but the surroundings - yes. You can find a lot of attractions like ferrara, wander wegs, cycle routes, even rafting and places obligatory to visit: Dachstein Glacier, Planai, Reiter Alm (all supported by lifts). There are some places from the category "must see" like Riesach waterfall or Silberkar Gorge.

    Great place for cross-country skiing, walking around, enjyoing fresh air and views of the Ski amade reagion incl. magnificent Dachstein. A few places to eat, but worth it - DAS Rittis, Red Angus, Waldschenke and most probably suggested Peter Rosseger restaurant (not visited).

    Grobming is 10 minutes away (by car) from ski slopes Hauser Kaibling. The town has a small church with mountains in the background. There is also Eurospar and other shops 5 minutes walk from the center.

    I enjoyed the area but it was hard to find information about...

    I enjoyed the area but it was hard to find information about ski schools or guides online. We had some beginners with us and they were unable to ski the icier slopes at the bottom of the hill. I would have signed up for a guide/instructor for them if I was able to get more information. Also need more non ski activities in the area. We went to the Dachstein Glacier area and it was stunning!

    Beautiful small town in a very scenic area.

    Beautiful small town in a very scenic area. Several good restaurants and an excellent vegetarian cafe. Awesome hiking and skiing, both alpine and cross country. Close to Schladming for anything else you might need.
