Perfect Honeymoon Stay! Our stay at The Abbott Boutique Hotel was absolutely perfect. The location is ideal, with all the major destinations within walking distance, making it so convenient to explore Cairns. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, especially knowing we were on our honeymoon. They even surprised us with a special treat, which made our stay even more memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend The Abbott to anyone visiting Cairns. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special!

I had an amazing stay at Crystalbrook Fkynn. The customer service was truly exceptional. The hotel staff anticipated my needs and were always ready to assist with anything I required. Everything! The staff was super friendly and the service provided was good, the water in the pools was just the right temperature, the natural environment was beautiful, the food at the Thirsty Flamingo was delicious, and the bed was so comfortable we almost didn’t get out of it. I haven’t slept so good in a loooong time. Don’t mind a bit of a slow wifi, because you won’t be needing it 😁.

Excellent service at this hotel, breakfast was very good, rooms very comfortable with AC, mini fridge hairdryer, iron and safety box, we had a late departure so the staff allowed us to stay at the hotel using the pool and also the shower. Very excellent service to their guests

    It's a good place to fly into, and go on and see other...

    It's a good place to fly into, and go on and see other places, like the far north and Port Douglas, and on the train up to Kuranda. It's just another city, really. My 3rd time there, and apart from good Vietnamese food, (Pho Viet, opposite the library), there is nothing all that appealing. There are very few taxis, I didn't know this- uber is the way to get about apparently. Otherwise get your walking shoes on. It is slightly cheaper to eat out in Cairns than Port Douglas, though.

    We loved our time at Palm Cove

    We loved our time at Palm Cove Hired a Car to get around, tho there are buses, that come quite frequently or grab an Uber Handy Supermarket, Bakery, Butcher, Chemist etc, at Clifton Beach, 10 Minutes from Palm Cove. So many great places to eat, along the strip. For a quick Pub style meal, you can't go past, the Surf Club Elgreko (Greek) was absolutely, delicious - however it is uptairs, so if mobility is a problem, perhaps, not for you Got a delicious Pizza from Rummble & Hum Lovely meal at Peppers Drove down to Yorkey's Knob, Boat Club, for lunch, about 25 Minutes from Palm Cove

    hotel was right on the beach so excellent for sunrise and...

    hotel was right on the beach so excellent for sunrise and sunset photos. beach is picturesque with a nice lookout at one end. close to restaurants, quick drive to a supermarket. phone reception was patchy on beach front but fine around the corner. room has only a bar fridge not full size. off road parking can be tight if you are last one's home.

    The beautiful breeze was lovely whenever I sat on a comfortable seat on the grass near the beach... We thought the views were amazing in every way we turned on the walkway across the road from the Agincourt Beachfont...We will be returning. It will most likely be in the winter though, as humidity is very high in the summer for us, as a couple from the central coast, in N.S.W. Thank you! It is close enough for a drive to Cairns, Port Douglas and other beautiful spots.

    The North Cairns area can be noisy because of its location...

    The North Cairns area can be noisy because of its location near the airport. Road noise is also a concern during the day because the apartment is on the1st floor and no sound barriers between its balcony and the road nearby. Overall, though, the noise level greatly reduces in the evening and did not affect our sleeping at night.

    A good alternative to the much trendier and therefore...

    A good alternative to the much trendier and therefore pricier northern beaches of Trinity Beach and Palm Cove. And definitely much quieter! A comprehensive shopping strip on the main street and of course not far from the large shopping complex at Smithfield. A few restaurant options available, including the yacht club. There is a bus service into Cairns CBD, but I would recommend hiring a vehicle for your stay. Taxis are very expensive.

    If you have a hire car, Westcourt is a good place to stay. Away from the mad tourist traffic and late-night city noises. Just a two-minute drive to the Esplanade, Cairns Station, major shopping centre and the city centre.

    Situated close to the airport made travelling easy. Property is gated so felt safe and secure. Having a local personal contact helped with knowledge fior eating out and shopping. Situated is so convenient for visitors to Cairns and so many locally based things for visitors to Queensland.

    For our family, location great.

    For our family, location great. Short trip from airport, quick lunch at Red Barron Hotel, changed for trip to venue at Redlynch. We were only there for a few hours but found it to be a 2 star rating. I would not book this again.

    I really only saw a small part of Cairns only being there 4...

    I really only saw a small part of Cairns only being there 4 days, so I did & saw what I really wanted to see- Kuranda by train, Crystal Cascades, Green Island, Nth Esplanade for migratory birds especially , Botanic Gardens for butterflies. Didn’t explore downtown city cairns
