The room, bed and bathroom all spacious and cozy. I liked the friendly staff who greeted me and booked me a restaurant reservation next door. Had a nice meal and a few drinks. Was a very good price compared to other hotels in the area.

The views from the room and the gardens of the property are outstanding. The room was beautifully decorated and very well equipped for sleeping, cooking, eating and relaxing. Jess was a great host and served up a super selection of freshly prepared fruit, pancakes and fritatas among other things for breakfast. She also prepared us smoothies to order all included in the price of the room. Wish we could have stayed another night!

It’s the best place we have ever stayed during our holidays. Unfortunately, on the day before arrival we were delayed in a national park and arrived quite late in the evening. We were tired and hungry, and we didn’t have a chance to buy any food on the way — but Ingrid and James had already taken care of everything! It was such a wonderful surprise to find various products and ready-to-cook meals waiting for us in the fridge, along with fresh bread on the table. We are a young couple living far away from our parents, but at that moment we felt truly cared for — as if our mom and dad were waiting to welcome us home. Thank you so much for that warmth and care! At 5 a.m. the next morning, we woke up to the beautiful singing of birds. It was impossible to stay in bed while the magnificent sunrise was beginning! We brewed some coffee and sat outside, watching the sunrise and the birds. We saw kangaroos, cows, many parrots and other birds. Afterwards, we enjoyed having breakfast outdoors. This was one of the best experiences of our lives. Thank you, dear Ingrid and James! We will definitely come back.

Perfect location and beautiful accommodation. The hosts were lovely and their fury friends! We were comfortable and warm and it was much appreciated having all the cooking equipment available. The location could not have been any better with the sound of the waterfall heard as we slept. 10/10.

Imagine yourself, sitting on the private patio of your room, with a glass of sparkling wine, last sunbeams of the day in the tree tops, the birds are singing, or well, screaming above your head … in the middle of the rain forest. This is just awesome!

Mount Tamborine is honestly one of my favourite places in QLD. It’s the perfect mix of rainforest, views, good coffee and wine, and short adventures that don’t exhaust you — but still feel like an escape. My absolute favourite walks there are Witches Falls and Palm Grove (Jenyns) — both are fun, beautiful, slightly challenging, and give that real rainforest feeling. Those two were the MOST enjoyable for me. I also love that Mt Tamborine has a peaceful, “holiday but close to home” vibe — you can hike, then go for a coffee, a wine tasting, a nice lunch, then relax again. It feels like a real reset — but only 45–60 minutes from GC. Mount Tamborine = green, calm, beautiful, adventurous — and those 2 hikes are the BEST ones for me.

It is a great place to be if you want to be peaceful and quiet or if you feel that it is time to go back to nature for refreshing and refocusing. Allow at least 45 minutes to get to O'Reilly and ensure not to travel in rainy or stormy weather conditions.

The Church was an authentic Step Back in Time with a rich history and the owners have kept it, as it was - we loved that. Nestled on the Hinterland Ridge with so much to offer in a cosy spot. Good value for money.

Loation, peace, quiet, nature, the birds, fireplace and staff are amazing. We've been coming here 15 years. The kitchen needs an upgrade with utensils and pans, knives need sharpening, spa could use some maintenance, but that's all doable. We have already booked for next year. Special place with special memories. If you want to switch off, relax, reconnect and enjoy nature, this is the place to do it .

Our group of friends had a fantastic weekend at the Bower Cottages. The cottages were charming, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Nestled in a peaceful bush setting, it felt like a true escape from the hustle of daily life. We loved sitting out on the deck in the mornings, surrounded by birdsong and nature. The location was perfect – just a short drive to the wineries, walking trails, and local shops. Highly recommend for a relaxing and comfortable stay with friends!

Fantastic facilities - something for everyone.

Fantastic facilities - something for everyone. Of great concern was the letter provided to us at check-in (see photo attached) suggesting we could be rewarded for giving the facility a 10 star rating. This defeats the objective of a review system and will end up disappointing future guests. This is not the type of practices I would expect from a facility like Kooralbyn☹️

Friendly, Relaxing and Peaceful to suit our needs. Photos did show a firepit in advert but there wasn't one! Need lighting ambience outdoor sitting area as the night light very harsh. Wifi not good and no remote for TV. Need pots, pans for cooking on stove or BBQ. Bathroom compliments Need to be individually wrapped for hygiene, not large bottles of household supplies. Need entrance lights up driveway and sign on gate for locating property on the busy road!

If you like to visit wineries, distilleries and a bit of a foodie, then this is the place to spend some time. There are heaps of options to pass the day - decision is which ones to visit and for how long. If bush walking is your thing, then there are heaps of trails and waterfalls to explore too! A weekend is just not long enough - you will need to come back again to be able to enjoy the many wonders this area has on offer! Young or old, there is something for everyone.
