Wonderful spacious 2 bed 2 bath apartment. Great location in Hunter valley. Facilities on Site - GOLF, SPA, CONVENIENCE STORE / BOTTLE SHOP (limited stock but useful) , 2 POOLS etc... Resort has a high end luxury feel as expected in Hunter Valley ACCESS TO 2 POOLS. The Nineteen (large bar / restaurant / roof terrace - great to have this - a super facility for Coffee, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner all available - excellent food truck also - with Oysters, Prawns and Fried Chicken - very affordable. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Lovely fluffy pool towels left in wardrobe in each room. Mini Bar left filled and paid if required.

Lovely studio apartment with a fireplace, kitchenette and view of the rolling valley. Had kangaroos and bunnies hopping around right outside our door for a wonderful surprise. Louisa was a great help with the check-in. Location is not too far from the main part of town. Most importantly appreciate that they are energy self-sufficient with PV panels on the roof and rainwater harvesting. Recommend for anyone keen on staying in Polkobin.

The staff were phenomenal, and a special thanks goes to a reception manager Evelyn. She was just brilliant and helped us organize local taxies and recommended a few very nice places. Food was outstanding. Breakfast lavish and delicious and one evening we had supper in their fine dining restaurant which again was fantastic and very tasty. The view from our room to the valley and nearby mountains was just stunning and we are very pleased we've stayed here.

The location is quite remote and requires someone to drive...

The location is quite remote and requires someone to drive at all times. The Villa we had was two bedroom/two bathroom which looked out to the golf course. It was very quiet and peaceful and was agreat place to relax. The villa was incredibly well equipped and there was nothing you could really ask for that was not there. The gas bbq was god send on our first night and we enjoyed a wonderfull steaks. All in all it was very short but great place to stay.

The hotel seems to have been recently renovated, and all the facilities exceeded our expectations. The coffee machine was a great bonus! It’s an ideal choice for family trips, and its location makes visiting nearby wineries very convenient. Situated right in the heart of Maitland, the hotel is surrounded by shopping, dining, and leisure options. The riverside walkway was perfect for morning and evening dog walks. We stayed with our pet, and the pet fee was very reasonable. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Muswellbrook tend to be my home town soon.

Muswellbrook tend to be my home town soon. A lot of activities for the kids around the town: parks, playgrounds even there is a ten pin bowling and cinema. It is a bit unexpected to be so community focused for a small rural town. Good restaurants are available: Indian, Thai, Chinese cousins and of course traditional Aussie pubs. The prices are average, so you will be pleased of not spending too much. 2 shopping malls are also available with all 3 main Australia grocery stores, so not an issue to top up your stock before travelling further inland.

Scenery was BEAUTIFUL. Friendly locals. A visit to the Lisa McGuigan cellar door is a must. LOTS of fun dress ups, FABULOUS decor and of course GREAT wines. Harrigans pub is also a must. Good food and live music at lunchtime.

We went to the Deck cafe and they had good service and served Cold brew coffee which was awesome considering we went on a hot weekend. We were close to everything in the Hunter and wineries, we went to the Handmade markets on Sobel estate winery and this was great too - got some awesome homemade food there. We had a lovely welcome at Jimmy Joans resturant and Bar and sat outside with great atmostphere and live music only dissappointment was ordering garlic prawns for $28 and getting 4 prawns only in that dish. Aside from that the wine was lovely and staff were friendly.

Our trip was for 2 nights to visit family cousins and to see the old homes of my grandparents and great grandparents and after our visits we were disappointed as there was very little to do while we were in Singleton Town Centre.

I really liked the small country town feel of scone I much prefer scone to Muswellbrook I really don’t like the town of Muswellbrook as much as I like scone Scone is quite a pretty town Relaxed and friendly I felt safe there too

The property does not deserve a 8.1 rating.

The property does not deserve a 8.1 rating. Could not use the shower or the air conditioner due to there below poor condition, including foul smell. Beds were terrible. Motel was cramped with terrible parking. It was a very unpleasant stay, we couldn’t wait to leave.

Stop the people drinking & smoking in groups outside their room entrances, not backing in utes to sit on back & booze & smoke, should have assigned area for that not close to next units entrance. Have been coming to same motel for 20 years & always been good, but really needs some control, should not have to wade past groups of drinkers to get to your car & door.

Enjoyed parklands & wetlands nearby! Good central area for lower Hunter valley. Train station very close to motel to travel into Newcastle & Maitland & upper Hunter. Very close to Expressway entry & the new section coming soon just to the east with new Hunter river bridge!
