We loved the setting of the cabin. We only stopped one night during our road trip but would have loved to stay longer to explore the beach access and enjoy the nature and wildlife more.
The cabin had a handy deck area to sit outside. From this we enjoyed our morning coffee whilst watching a kangaroo grazing and an abundance of birds. Peaceful and relaxing before getting back on the road. The cabin had everything you need for self catering. The shower was good and beds comfy.

Lovely spacious room with great kitchen facilities. Very comfortable bed and option of different pillows. Lovely view of town and the beach although deck was rather small. Air con worked well and added bonus of ceiling fan in the bedroom kept it nice and cool. Secure onsite parking was great. Staff very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and cocktail bars, all within easy walking distance. Magnificent beach just a few minutes walk away.

Wonderful location, had not clicked when booking that it’s right on the beach, just perfect. Powder supplied for free use of washing and drying machines. Awesome guy at reception, very helpful. Other guy vacuuming leaves was disappointed to miss my bagpipe solo on the beach and I’m sorry I just didn’t have time to unpack them again for another wee display. Next time!

Splendid and spacious apartment, fully equipped with kitchen, washing machine and dish washer. Small veranda for outside sitting, nice small swimming pool with jacuzzi. Very closed to the beach (5 minutes). 10 minutes drive to Reef1770 for Barrier Reef snorkelling.

A really beautiful place to stay. We had booked here so that we could attend a barrier reef day trip and we have all come away, wishing we were staying longer. It is such a quiet, peaceful area that still provides lots to do. The apartments are brilliant.

We only stayed the night as we were on our way home .
We only stayed the night as we were on our way home .
We picked up Red Rooster Meal before checking into the Motel , so we didn’t need to leave the motel until next morning. We had our puppies with us , They gave us a room upstairs but it was the last room available but we would have preferred a room ground level to make it easier to walk the dogs .

Gladstone has so many beautiful parks walks and water fronts to spend your time in. A large variety of restaurants and plenty of shops and things to do. The nightlife also doesn’t disappoint, there are quite a few venues to choose from to go for a dance, an evening meal or to sit for a few drinks with live music.
The locals were all very polite and friendly and helpful, it’s a very family friendly city and we think has a lot to offer.

A good place to visit Lady Musgrave & Lady Elliot Island from. A cute little town with a few shops and an Art gallery, plus beaches nearby. There is a local bus but it's only every two hours so a car is useful!

There are walks from the famous Keppel Bay marina south of Yeppoon to Rosslyn Bay and dramatic landscapes, quarry and mountain as well as tours to the bay and reef. Yeppoon has a good selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants plus beachside walk and parks excellent for children. There is the tourist visitor centre just out of Yeppoon where there is a World Class marine and shell life museum - a must see for the whole family. Small coastal town feel with pretty much everything you would need.

Beautiful spot and wonderful beaches, surf side and the estuary. Good costal walks both sides.
Not a lot of shopping, but a good variety of outlets with good food. Well stocked supermarkets.

This is a nice small town with everything you need.
This is a nice small town with everything you need. Grocery stores are a 5 minute drive and smaller shops and restaurants are walkable. Much of the ocean shore is rock but there are several swimming beaches. They have a golf club, bowling club and miles of walking trails.

Emu Park is the 'Gem' of the area. Quiet, layed back beach side area. No hassle or bustle. Supermarket, fuel station, bakery, Cafe, takeaway food shops, of 2x fish & chips, 1 Pizza shop. Great base camp for the area.
