Excellent breakfast. Beach was close to the hotel. The nude beach required a 5-minute walk, but other beaches were even closer. The hotel was in a quiet location, outside of the nearby towns but still close enough. The walking time to the bus stop was 10 minutes from the hotel, town of Ravda 15 minutes, old town of Nessebar 30 minutes. So everything in walking distance. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel restaurant was great as well, the staff spoke English. Room was really big, much bigger than I expected. Terrace offered a view of the sunset above the sea. The entire hotel was exceptionally clean. I could see the staff cleaning the corridors and other shared areas of the hotel all the time. My room was also properly cleaned every day.

Really exceptional hotel. When I booked this hotel I didn’t expect anything even though I read good reviews but since it says 3 stars I didn’t expect anything, but this hotel was beyond any expectations. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and helped with all the information I asked. The room was big and clean. The breakfast was really good. The restaurant right steps from the beach with great menu options and great service. I don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful everything was and when I checked out the receptionist lady gave me a little gift. I would rate this hotel 5 stars or more.

Our stay at the hotel was very peaceful and lovely . The room was very clean with a view of the sea, there was a balcony where you can drink your coffee every morning and watch the sun rise. The staff was very efficient and friendly, you can always turn to them with any questions you have. The hotel has its own restaurant where the food was excellent. I liked everything: modern and stylishly decorated apartments, cleanliness, timely cleaning and change of bed linen and towels. The kitchen has everything you need. Morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the sea will be remembered for a long time. Stable Wi-Fi. Friendly and welcoming manager. Parking is available. The sea is 10-15 minutes walk away. The impressions of the holiday and accommodation are the most pleasant.

It was exceptionally clean, towels were changed daily and some basic cleaning was also done on daily basis. Food was also superb - everything you can think of is available - all types of meat and fish, various salads, fruit, vegetables, sweets, pastries, pasta, pizza, cheeses, you name it. For breakfast all types of cerials and different jams, nuts and dried fruits, eggs in every way possible, chesses, salads, pastries, fruit... Location of the hotel is also optimal - it is not on the coast so it is not noisy, but is still really close to the beach. Employees are beyond kind and helpful and hotel itself is fully renovated so it was really enjoyable

We loved everything from the moment we checked in. The reception with the cute parrot Tihomir (absolute loved that guy) , the walk to the room and the esthetic of the decor. The room was clean, fancy and subtle. The bathroom was very clean. The included breakfast menu was nice. Everything we tried was tasty.

If you are looking for a quiet and modern place, Onyx is the best choice. Private beach, easy access , really clean , new and nice rooms. It was our second year here. Safe to say we feel like home. The staff is nice and friendly and tend to all your needs. The beach is clean, don’t know why or how but it does not fell crowded. Which is always a plus. Good breakfast,. We really enjoyed our stay here.

1. The food. Wonderful. From shrimps, octopus and sea food to poridge, vegetarian and baby food, everything was great. Compliments to the chef, especially for dinner. The variety, the presentation, taste, fantastic. Also, great staff at the bar. Not always understanding English but all the cocktails were decent and well executed, not diluted by a lot of water. Great coffee, too! 2. The staff. Always present, friendly, decent and modest, always paying attention. Alexandra, Dima, Eva, from the animation team...Well done! 3. The cleanliness. Room and towels cleaned/changed daily. 4. The surroundings. Close to Nessebar, easy to travel around by different busses for only 2 leva per person. Peacefull, bazaars and supermarkets very close. 5. The room. Modern, fresh and one of the biggest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. The balcony was amazing (room 1613), extra large and the sea view was amazing. The bathroom was also very big but only soap was provided so bring your own toiletries. 6. The heated indoor pool. Fantastic for kids or chillier days. 7. Very close to the beach, fine sand, clean area. Sunbeds need to be paid for.

We loved the family friendly athmosphere where our kids could play and make new friends on the playground or the pool and be visible by us at all times from the pool bar and lounges. The staff was very friendly, helped us when our kid was not feeling well and even found us a floaty when she was ready to swim! We were pleasantly surprised how good the food was - it had interesting local offerings, you can feel the good selection of fruits and vegetables and just the right deserts! The room was specious and the beds were very comfortable. Parking was not a problem. Highly recommended!

One of the best beach hotels I have ever seen. Once you get there, you don’t want to leave anymore. Front views of the sea from both balconies of the apartment, all is quiet, clean and a friendly atmosphere inside and outside the building. Everything is very nice and well organized, from the access to the parking spot, to all the facilities that can be found everywhere. Delicious food and drinks, nice shows for both children and adults. Good taste and refinement, congratulations! We can't wait to come back!

The view from our room, the pool, the room itself, the amenities, everything! The food is beyond tasty. The manager Vlad was amazing. He was helping us with any question we had. Helped us organize a small celebration for our friend’s birthday as well. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I don’t have enough kind words to describe the experience we had.

Both of us are well into our retirement which meant Pomorie...

Both of us are well into our retirement which meant Pomorie was perfect for both of us. The town centre and most of rest of town was in very easy walking distance from Suny Bay Hotel. We used a number of restaurants' all served good food especially Fish fresh caught.

We have visited Nesebar a few times in the past on a day trip basis, you need to spend time in the old town to discover it fully! Plenty of great restaurants & bars to visit, plenty to see and do!

Avoid the road between Varna and Nessebar, it is damaged and congested. Personally, I used DN5 Ruse-Polikraiște 90 km (very congested), then DN53 Polikraiște-Elena-Sliven-Krușare 133 km (superb, through the mountains, very free and recently renovated almost completely), A1 Krușare-Burgas 90 km, DN9 Burgas -Ravda 40 km (crowded but recently built as an expressway bypassing the resorts.

The area feels rather isolated and would benefit from more tourist development, such as better swimming facilities and improved transportation options. Overall, Bulgaria does not yet feel like a well-developed tourist destination.

I liked that the beach was close, that there was an elevator in the hotel and the apartment we stayed in was fairly clean. It had a fully equipped but small kitchen. The sea is great. There are no big waves and no rocks - ideal for kids. There's plenty of space on the beach for a personal umbrella and towel. I didn't like that the beach was not being cleaned, there are no toilets or showers on the beach (thank god the hotel was very close). The elevator was very dirty. Also on the beach people would occupy the chairs and umbrellas by tying things to them like towels and no-one would clear this up even if there was a written rule that it's forbidden to do so.

A good selection of restaurants with good food and drink at...

A good selection of restaurants with good food and drink at a reasonable price. A nice buzz in the old town at night. From our location, bikes were essential for getting into the old town along the promenade. Roads around our location very poor - no footpaths and rough surface on lanes. A lot of unfinished abandoned looking buildings in the area.

I had an amazing experience there.

I had an amazing experience there. A wonderful and to my every very nice receptionists whom replied to my every request. The rooms and the hotel are very clean and located in a great place just next to the beaches and the bus station. The rooms are being cleaned every day and the breakfast is very nice. very warm and quite place, with a very domestic atmosphere. I will definitely come back again

certainly a very special holiday venue. Nessebar is a world heritage site that delivers a wonderful view back in time, with great restaurants and hotels in a walkable, almost free of any traffic area. Prices vary considerably in some of the restaurants, so care is needed. There are many different retail outlets selling everything from cheap souvenirs to expensive luxury leather goods. There are nice, quiet beaches. If a less tranquil time is required, there is a waterbus to Sunny Beach every half an hour from the waterfront.
