The housing is located on the quiet street of Caye Caulker, but at the same time everything is 3-10 minutes away as the island itself is small. if you want to rest well (Caye Caulker is kinda a party island) - choose Dream Cabanas! We had the best time here! the room has AC, coffee/tea, and all the necessary things to have your own breakfast on the terrace! They offer bike rentals for 2,5 USD which we used almost every day as it allows you to also travel to the North island to see the crocodiles. Grocery store is like 1 min away and tons of cafes and restaurants nearby. The property looks really dreamy in the evening with the lights and the host was very helpful during all stay! Room was cleaned every day and we even got some great tips for exploring the very south of the Island where is a beautiful white sand beach which is more popular for locals!

From the moment I arrived Christine made me feel so welcome. She had a list of things to do, where to eat and party. I just loved all the personal touches with flowers on the bed, wrapped in the towels and in a vase. Everything has old world charm and my room was upstairs with a view of the Caribbean Sea and a lovely breeze drifting through the louvre windows. The position of the hotel is perfect to walk to night clubs, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and the retail shopping strip. Yet is very quiet & comfortable. This hotel cares about the environment and it shows from very clear instructions with the linen to a water refill station at reception. All the staff are super friendly and everyone will go out of their way to make your stay so fabulous you will never want to leave! I wish to highly recommend the Hotel del Rio. 10 out of 10!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The pick-up by boat from the ferry, the warm welcome and welcome drinks, the beauty of the resort, and the lovely cabin. The beds were so comfortable! The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the food at the restaurant was just amazing. We also liked the fact that they offer free transfers to Caye Caulker and Secret Beach a few times a week. But the best thing was probably the staff. The whole team was incredibly friendly and warm, and they did everything they could to make our stay even more comfortable. We loved the small little details like the cookies we'd find in our room at bedtime. Definitely recommend this place!

I was greeted right away and able to check in early. One of the hotel staff Danny, was very helpful and even went to pick up a basket of beer from across the island. The condo was extremely spacious and I feel the pictures don't do it justice. The living room and kitchen are huge with a nice-sized balcony. We also really enjoyed using the pool. The staff were also swift to replace towels, water, or coffee. This is where I will recommend people stay when they visit Caye Caulker. Also, it's across the street from Chef Kareem's BBQ and Wish Willy, some of the best food on the island.

Hôtel was clean and room was spacious. Hot water was quick and wifi was fast. The hotel is located near the airport but the flights weren’t at any time that would affect your sleep. I didn’t hear any flights after 5pm or before 8am. The room has a sink, fridge, aircon and wifi is quick. Our booking accidentally didn’t go through and the staff on hand were so accommodating to get everything finalised. About 1.5km to the spit - this wasn’t an issue for me, but just in case you weren’t as physically able it would be an issue.

Everything at this adults-only resort was perfect - the staff, the location, the onsite restaurant, and the cabanas and grounds. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a quality stay at a top-notch resort. We appreciated the airport pickup and dropoff, and also the free filter coffee that was supplied every day in the bar/restaurant area.

Caye Caulker is an amazing place to experience the 'Go Slow'...

Caye Caulker is an amazing place to experience the 'Go Slow' way of life! We enjoyed 4 nights there with our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teen boys), went spearfishing, swam with nurse sharks and sting rays, fed tarpon, waded with sting rays, hung out at The Split, and enjoyed amazing Belizean food all over the island. You can sleep in and go to bed early, and still not miss a thing. :)

San Pedro is not for everyone, that is certain.

San Pedro is not for everyone, that is certain. It is chaotic and cramped. There are very few places to actually swim, and the beach is narrow and crowded. There are many places to eat, but the food seems to be the same and is relatively expensive.

Nice little island near Belize City, with many hotels and...

Nice little island near Belize City, with many hotels and resorts, many good restaurants serving fresh seafood, especially Conch.and fish... I took a tour for US$50, snorkeling and swimming with the sharks!!! My new resort has a pool and a private beach. I plan to take a private taxi and tour the whole island... very windy in the afternoons.

I loved San Pedro, the restaurants are all walkable from downtown and everyone was delicious. The people are so welcoming and friendly and very helpful. Tropic Air staff made the travel easy and uneventful from Belize City. The San Pedro Express was also a great way to travel.

if you are diver is the perfect place to visit, that was my goal, I dove with Scuba sensations ,excellent ,massages half a block from sea dreams, Ix Chel DAY spa, clean professional, good price. Maggie's sunset KITCKEN one block from sea dreams local place the food was delicious , i ,had fish ,good prices. I want to try conch the staff recommend Paradiso cafe ,real good. I went to the other side of town to a restaurant may be call Erika it was pack I asked for octopus very disappointed it, totally chewy and expensive, they tried to cook it more not luck.
