We went for hiking nearby, so we wanted a hotel that is comfortable but not fancy because we will only sleep there. The hotel was very clean, well maintained, and quiet, meeting all our need. Staffs are very friendly. Restaurant was great. Food are quite nice. They seem to specialize on cordon bleu because one third of the menu is dedicated to different variation of cordon bleu (made my partner very happy).

The walk from the cable car station along the panorama trail with amazing mountain views takes approximately 25-30 minutes. There are many walking and skiing trails available around. You can have dinner a la carte at the hotel (there are not many other options in the village). Peaceful and quiet. We had a double room in the attic with a tiny window and two comfortable beds joined. The bathroom was small, but clean. Your luggage can be delivered from the cable car to the hotel, if you book in advance.

The breakfast was delicious. A variety of items to choose from as a buffet style or a freshly made omelette/eggs were also available. A great start to the day and all served with a fresh coffee. Staff were very friendly and we were lucky enough to be able to check in to our room early. Comfortable beds, great shower and a great view from our loft room windows. Highly recommend.

This is an old fashioned hotel, run by the same family for generations. The room was spacious and clean, lots f room for bags and sitting in. The bathroom/spa was a bit difficult to get in and out off but it was spacious. The family and staff running the hotel were very friendly and we enjoyed our stay there. The hotel restaurant serves wholesome meals and we ate all of our meals there during our stay.

This was particularly well presented with different assortments of breads. The croissants were amazing that my husband had 2. Loved the egg boiler and coffee machine and jams. When the ham was used up this was quickly replaced with more for other guests. Very good attention to detail. Thank you !

Very spacious, very clean. Hard mattress wich was perfect for my back. Plenty of parking space. Staff very helpful, didn't knew where the button for opening the window shutter was, after rang them they show up in a sec to my door way. Internet acceptable, could be better.

Brig was truly a hidden gem!

Brig was truly a hidden gem! We stayed at Hotel Victoria, directly across from the train station - which we loved. The main part of the city was really close and in walking distance. Great shops and resturants and gelato shops. They have a little train that goes around the city and gives you another perspective. It was perfect! There was a historic castle with tour. Unfortunately, the tour was in German, but we enjoyed it.

Brig is a pretty town surrounded by mountains.

Brig is a pretty town surrounded by mountains. There are lots of restaurant options and shops and a sweet old town. There is a very striking Palace to visit and some lovely nearby walks, including one to a gorge. They have a local pool and a set of thermal pools a short bus ride away.

Great view of the mountains, efficient public transportation and a very good ski area. Super comfortable for families. The restaurants have food of good quality, however they should work more on the food variety by introducing e.g., more vegetables on the menu. A surprise was the soja milk at the bar in one of those restaurants. Infrastructure is super efficient, as usual in Switzerland.

A very pretty town, with lovely crisp fresh air. Fabulous selection of shops from fashion to food. Friendly and welcoming cafes and restaurants. Particularly like the pretty main square. Overall a feeling of safety and cleanliness.

The Cable car to Belalp starts from here, nice little...

The Cable car to Belalp starts from here, nice little village with mostly Holiday homes and Hotels. Was there in summer, had few nice sunny days and couple of rainy days. Felt mostly peaceful , went around the belalp. Nature lovers, walkers, Hikers you get quite some things to do here. Make sure you get most of your stuff from down Brig or Naters. You get very less options to buy anything like Groceries, Fuel for Cars etc.
