Location worked great as it was right next to the train station but a very short, easy walk into the main town. Also, there was a grocery store very close by as well. The owners of the Chalet were very kind and accommodating and served an very tasty, filling breakfast with many local products.

In Le Prese I discovered a different paradigm - perfection of presentation and taste can be an art form. What am I talking about? I’m talking about how this great hotel in its iconic lakeside location has moved with the times in keeping with its heritage. I’m talking about the cheerful dedication of the staff. I’m talking about the perfection and attention to detail of the cuisine and about the devotion to local sourcing. Ok that’s what I liked about it.

We had a warm welcome to the beautiful hotel. There was a special, calm and relaxing atmosphere in the place, perfectly located right by the train station and close to the lake. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was good as well as the dinner in the hotel restaurant. All staff was extremely helpful and friendly to us and our dog. The garden where we dined was super lovely. We loved our stay!

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The hotel is full of charm, blending historic character with tasteful modern touches. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, featuring a spacious and relaxing bathroom. As vegans, we appreciated the extra effort the hosts made to provide us with suitable breakfast options. We’ll definitely stay here again — next time we hope to try the restaurant and bar, which were unfortunately closed during our visit.

Fantastically warm welcome from the owner, absolutely delicious home cooked food for dinner. Comfy beds. Very pet friendly. I could not have asked for more!

Exceptional hotel. The staff is very friendly. Restaurant has bio (organic) options. The food is really well-made and not expensive. Bikes can be locked inside. Not everything is perfectly new but that actually makes it feel much more welcoming. Big recommendation!
