I stayed in one of the bungalows “Kimal Pueblo” and absolutely loved it, peaceful, charming, and very comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax after long days exploring the desert. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. Every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and professional. One detail I especially appreciated was that at the end of the day, the cleaning lady would quietly pass by the room, prepare the bed for my return, and turn on the bedside lamps, such a thoughtful touch that made coming back feel so cozy and welcoming. The room itself was spotlessly clean, and the spa and hotel facilities were fantastic. The restaurant was also excellent, with delicious food and amazing service every time. All staff is very supportive and friendly, they welcome you with honest smiles. The hotel is beautiful, very comfortable, the design worth some nice pictures. Delicious breakfast, I don’t have anything bad to mention. I loved they have bicycles, so you can go on a ride if you arrive before the check in, they also have sunscreen and body lotion at the front desk, nice detail to help you with Atacama’s weather. The woman that helps with the cleansing of the hotel (the one that owns a dog) is very kind, she makes you feel like home. 300% recommended this place! Living with her, was the best part of our trip! Her coffee and empanadas were just so delicious, we especially enjoyed sitting at sunset in her kitchen having afternoon drinks and endless chats, she really has the most infectious personality and laugh and makes your stay so genuine and authentic. The property is super quirky, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom and water work perfectly! The pictures don’t do it justice and its an easy 10min walk into caracoles! San Pedro de Atacama was one of the most beautiful surprises from the 65 countries I’ve visited. I can’t recommend it enough. Nature is truly at its finest here, with breathtaking contrasts everywhere you look -- from otherworldly landscapes to serene lagoons and dramatic geysers. This is a charming little town with lots of character.
This is a charming little town with lots of character. It is also central to many wonderful tourist attractions, with many tour agent offices in town available to assist with activity planning. I spent 3 days here but could easily have spent 6 or more days here.Guest review byJonathanAustralia
