A little piece of heaven, amazing setting with small front garden. Clean very new modern rooms that are well arranged and managed. Amazing shower, very good mattresses, small shared kitchen, living room and a great host that really goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The breakfast was prepared with lots of love. I would have loved to be able to stay longer. Thank you!

This place truly melted our hearts! We had the best time here, and our hosts were like grandparents to us in China. From the moment we arrived, they took excellent care of us. We stayed for two nights, which gave us the chance to visit Gubei Water Town and the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall. Both were incredible experiences! Our hosts drove us to and from both locations each day, and they also cooked delicious meals for us. It was a truly heartwarming experience, and you can feel how much love and dedication they put into hosting travelers. Highly recommended for Western visitors!

We loved the location, the town of Gubeikou is cozy and perfectly located to hike the trail of the Great Wall. The room and the beds were very comfortable, nice and clean, the bathroom was also very clean and nice. Our host was sweet and helpful. The three resident cats were also lovely and cuddly. We would definitely come back!

The couple who owns the guesthouse are very very nice! They help with everything, drives you to the wall and back, drives you to the train, makes tea and food for every meal. Highest recomendation! Perfect if you want to visit Jinshanling. Rooms were brand new and very nice as well.

Absolutely amazing stay. Room was spacious and clean. Bed large and comfortable. Mickey is the perfect host! Super helpful. Picked us up from the base of the great wall for check in and then took us up in the morning helping with tickets!! The breakfast was amazing. The best one we had on our trip. The coffee was so good!! Would happily stay here again. Nice and close to the wall so very convenient. Highly recommend.
