There was enough space in the closets for all our stuff for a 6 day stay. There was a very nice playground right next to the building, and we put a blanket (brought from home) on the grass to sit on and keep an eye on the kids. The whole garden is just amazing, both for playing and relax, and we even saw beavers in the little river behind the fence. Decent breakfast in the morning, and selection of local wines for delight in the afternoon. We really appreciated the little summerhouse in the garden where we could spend evenings protected from wind and mosquitos. If you have an eye for nature, you will see plenty of birds right from the backyard, including woodpeckers and golden orioles. The restaurant next door was run by a different owner and open till afternoon on weekdays, but there were anyway plenty of options to eat out in the town.Guest review byMonikaPoland

Our room was amazing, the spring mattress was good but I prefer a different kind so that was the only slight minus. Breakfast offered a good choice of hot and cold food and delicious coffee. It was very easy to rent bikes through the hotel, they also advised us on cycling trips and so we spent an unforgettable day cycling through the vineyards sampling local wine. Such a pretty old town centre with a square surrounded by...
Such a pretty old town centre with a square surrounded by lovely buildings. It was full of cafes and shops. Then the large castle loomed over the town from its hilltop position. You can walk through the castle gardens and along the path around the castle to admire it. From there the views over the town and across the countryside were stunning. It is a great old town with plenty of things to see, especially if you are into historical sightseeing and lovely nature/surroundings. Just make sure that you come at the right time. Lednice is an easy place to get to.
Lednice is an easy place to get to. Hey have great accommodations throughout the city. So many things to see and do as within the area. We loved venturing out on our adventures to see other parts of the country. It is very a beautiful area! People are very accommodating and helpful. Trebic is well worth a visit.
Trebic is well worth a visit. The Basilica of St Procopius is an architectural gem and the Jewish Quarter has been beautifully preserved. Public transport is best managed from other large cities by bus, as train journeys often have to be broken with complicated changes. Not so good for those of us who are less mobile. I took the Flixbus from Brno in the morning and was in Trebic in an hour. The next day I took another bus to Prague and was there in two hours. If you're taking the Auto Bey bus from Trebic bus station to Prague you need to know it leaves from the side of stand 3, but technically outside the bus station, so the connection isn't on the departures board in the bus station building. The town is in two halves on both banks of the Jihlava river, so don't miss the town square and the church of St. Martin, or the painted house. Trebic also seems to have one or two good cafes as well - always good when you're walking around and need some refreshment.Guest review byClare K.Czech Republic - 10.0

Mikulov is a lovely little town close to Austrian border. It is famous for its vineyards and wine tasting facilities. You should definitely walk up to the Mikulov castle and Sv Kopecek hill. The town was just the right size for a three day visit. We had our dog with us so no museums or galleries were on our list but we were welcome everywhere else.
