A great wine shop, Rohstoff, next door and the brilliant Von Winning Weingut just down the street. I did not see any vegan options for breakfast.

We loved our stay here! The staff at reception and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful with all our requests. If you request an hour in advance (to give time to heat up) it's possible to use the Finnish sauna in the basement, which was amazing. There are loungers with blankets for relaxing in between the sauna. We were the only people using it during our stay and we found it super relaxing (especially after a long walk in the woods). I'd let the hotel know in advance that I was vegan so they had special vegan plates for me at the breakfast buffet: vegan cold meats and cheese, spreads, yoghurt and even vegan muffins the last morning, which was really appreciated! The location is great: it's in the old town, so picturesque cobbled streets and only a few minutes walk from the bus stop. The restaurant seemed very popular, although (apart from the breakfasts) we only had a light dish there one evening. (I think it would have been necessary to let them know in advance with dietary requirements.) Another time we'd probably eat there! Thanks for the great stay and hopefully we'll be back ☺️

Really enjoyed the coziness of this place. Staff is incredibly friendly. Breakfast buffet is small but has everything you wish for and super tasty! It’s my second visit here and I will come back for sure!

The atmosphere of the hotel was very calm and relaxed. There were excellent facilities and everywhere was very clean. The staff are so helpful and professional. The evening meals were delicious and interesting and there was a good selection of items at breakfast and vespers. It was nice to be able to taste the wines too. One of our party tried a wine wrap in the spa and it was very nice but remember to book in advance. The pool was small but perfect!

The hotel is on the top of the hill. We liked the self-check in so there is no rush in coming to the specific check-in times. There is a winery with a big terrace facing views from the hill, which is open for hotel guests from 6pm. which is self-catering - you can pour and try wines by yourself at the bar and mark what you have consumed in a booklet for which you will have to pay on the day of check-out.

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. A modern building, very well appointed and equipped. My room was in effect a suite. Staff most pleasant and efficient. The breakfast lived up to its description as gourmet. The restaurant too was of a high standard. Plenty of parking space and a quiet location. I could not fault anything.

The Achat Hotel is awesome in every way, the location is...

The Achat Hotel is awesome in every way, the location is just 2 minutes walk from the train station and the bus station. You have almost everything around, shops, restaurants, church, post office, etc. The staff are fantastic, they speak English and patiently listen to their clients, they give you all information you request for to visit the village. I highly recommend this hotel, it is also very neat. I will suggest that they should add electric kettle and coffee mugs in the rooms though I think I was told that there was a coffee machine somewhere but I didn't search for it, I prefer having tea or coffee in my room whenever I want without going out to get some. Apart from that, I so much love the Achat hotel at Neustadt an winestrasse

There was lots to explore here. We enjoyed the Biergartens. Be sure to have euros on hand because a lot of establishments didn't except card payments. You could easily walk this city which is really nice.

Lovely town quite ‘Hansel-and-Gretlish’. Shame about the hotel. Found reception rather off-hand, the room was not in the building shown in the picture but in an annexe. No lifts, no assistance to get to the top floor! Would not book again.

Nice looking hotel.

Nice looking hotel. Rooms were clean with coffee maker and minibar. Shower not so easy to access. The privat parking, not so privat, is along the street next to the hotel but when we arrived it was full. Locals were parking there as well because of some event in the village. We had to wait for the owner to give us directions and had to park in front of an garage exit not marked as an parking area. Noisy room kept us from sleeping. Outstanding breakfast.

Interesting town with some nice old architecture.

Interesting town with some nice old architecture. A visit to the Eis Cafe Cortina should be planned - great ice cream. Some good places to sit and watch the world go by. In the Kurpark, enjoy the Toskana Garden and terrace. Lots of opportunities to sample wine from local vineyards.
