- From US$111.18 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 390 reviewsVery easy to register with an exceptionally helpful receptionist who highlighted places and events on the town map supplied. She was also helpful with enquiries during my stay. Easy key drop early in the morning I left. The room was kept spotless during my stay - excellent and attentive cleaning staff. The apartments are just across from the beach, within easy walking distance of the town and restaurants. There are bus stops just outside the apartments for the circular bus route into town and easy street parking if you have a car. The restaurant downstairs can be/should not be overlooked - such friendly staff and surprisingly excellent meals. There is also a very good buffet breakfast - not advertised and somewhat hidden away. In all everything made for a perfect holiday - thank you.Guest review bySueUnited Kingdom

The roads aren't very comfortable to walk as they are paved with stones. Otherwise perfect place, many friendly, helpful people. Sacromonte is a cute place. The Alhambra is huge! We managed a Sierra Nevada tour with Get Your Guide which was the cherry on the cake. Julio was simply the perfect guide! Great place to visit!Guest review byGalea - 10.0
Almunecar is fantastic, we come here every year at least...
Almunecar is fantastic, we come here every year at least once and have been doing so for over 20yrs, the people are great, the town is so quiet and nice and we love the tapas, el petete is our favourite for tapas. The town is on the coast and beaches are plentiful and not crowded during the times we go (sept). all of the bars serve tapas with drinks and it's a lottery on what you get which adds to the magic and mystery of the town. Getting to the town from malaga means a car hire but parking is plentiful and free. we hired a car, got to the town parked and never used the car again other than getting back to the airport. a transfer bus might be a better idea if there are any. all in all, I will continue to come to Almunecar for as long as im able to; we love it!Guest review byGEORGEUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Such a great little city that feels very safe and enjoyable for travellers. We loved the local feel of Motril, unlike other places along the coast that we visited. The locals were friendly and there was a great selection of restaurants and bars as well as a nice walk to the beach with good access for pedestrians. I wouldn’t recommend bringing a car as the streets are little but a scooter or moped would be ideal. You must try Pizzeria Vespa and Zarcillo Restaurant was such a special place to go for dinner too. We also loved a little late night walk around the cactus garden which is such a cute place. Motril, you were excellent!Guest review byPaigeCzech Republic - 10.0

It's a very relaxing town, you can drive up to the Alpujarra to visit the white towns, its got abundance of Spanish ham. You can go trekking and they have plenty of water. The Thermal baths are very nice.Guest review bySene - 10.0

Beautiful village area with cave hotels. Not far from motor way and accessibility is not an issue. Essential things are available in nearby villages. A vehicle is required to move around to buy things.Guest review byDeepa HaridasIndia - 8.0

Capileira is a great end-of-the-road hamlet high in the mountains. it might get busy on sundays with local daytrippers. because it is such a fabulous destination for a walk and a meal. stay longer and its yours.Guest review byWouterUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A beautiful part of Spain.
A beautiful part of Spain. A great beach with a wide selection of restaurants, 'Bahia' helped us to host an special anniversary meal, the Il Treno ice-cream parlour right opposite the clean beach and the marvelous tapas bar nearby are worth a visit. The maintown, set back a way from the beachfront is the castle with it's incredible views, and the hillside houses in the steep narrow winding streets are amazing but exhausting to walk around. Fortunately there are several bars to stop for a drink on the way. The town has all the shops you might need and the beautiful town of Caleta is close enough to walk to: I would love to see the procession that is proudly displayed in the photographs throughout their town. We were delighted by the smiling local Spaniards who made us welcome and helped us wherever we went. Most spoke little or no English but with just a few Spanish words we managed just fine; communication is no big problem among friends. Viva EspanaGuest review byDeanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Nice seaside town plenty of restaurants/bars either in town or on beach. Stoney beach but big and not too crowded when we went in June. Seemed a more upmarket resort than some of the other towns nearby.Guest review byJulieUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The coffee was good.
The coffee was good. The staff were friendly but could not speak much English. I was expecting a buffet style breakfast but only toast with a topping was available. The hotel was clean but needed more air circulation as it felt stuffy. Would have been nice to be able to see out of the window as the roller shutters did not work. I would go back but only for a one night stay. Lots of local people go including lots of truckers, Many truckers use it as a truck stop. The evening meals were good but nothing fancy as you would expect from somewhere that truckers use.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 10.0
