FAQs about hotels on Ibiza
An island of surprises
Even though it's famous for fantastic clubbing, Ibiza is so much more and makes a surprisingly good family destination. Booking.com’s range of apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Ibiza cover all kinds of holiday. The main nightlife is centred around San Antonio, where superclubs Es Paradis and Eden only kick off after midnight. Playa d’en Bossa also has amazing clubs including Space which attracts big-name DJs year after year. Nearby Ibiza Town (or Eivissa) is the island’s capital, and although it has its fair share of bars and restaurants, the feel is more laidback. The cobbled streets in its walled Old Town, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, offer a spot of shade from the Spanish sun. Along the coast is Santa Eulalia del Rio, an altogether more exclusive resort whose marina is lined with expensive yachts. However, the best family hotels in Ibiza are in northern resorts like Portinatx and Port de San Miguel. Here crystal-clear waters lap sandy beaches hidden in rocky coves. The scenery is simply stunning and the vibe couldn’t be more different to down south. Inland Ibiza still retains much of its original character. Hiring a bike is a great way to explore sleepy villages like Santa Agnès and San Rafael, though be warned – some of the terrain can be tricky!

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,480 reviewsBreakfast ist outstanding. You get truffled scramble eggs, Frech juice, all kind of extras and life music in the morning. Rosi is the best waitress ever. She made my birthday to a unforgettable experience with cake and champagne. everything is very clean and the hotel is full if music and good vibes. The beach club is exclusive and the beach restaurant with Dani a wonderful expirience. Tartel the very good restaurant offers you the spirit of Paris. I am a frequent traveller and I know very good hotels but this one is happiness poor. Best choice for people who have a outstanding lifestyle and rhythm in the blood. Please go to the sky terrace and enjoy the sunsetGuest review byAntjeSpain
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 911 reviewsI had such an incredible experience at this hotel. My room was huge and the bed was SO comfy. They offer a delicious breakfast served by the pool so it was the perfect way to start the day. There are a lot of options of restaurants, supermarkets, ATMs and everything you need close to the hotel. They also helped you in you need to rent a car or a scooter. The bar and the pool make all the difference, I wish I could stayed there just enjoying the sun, the drinks and the pool! Highly recommend this hotel.Guest review byMagagcortezDenmark
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 450 reviewsFantastic service and super friendly concierge service. They managed to book us all the restaurants and clubs we wanted to go to. Guest relations did a super job decorating and organising flowers for my wife's birthday. And when we had a small issue in our room (not hotel's fault) we got upgraded. Everything was dealt with quickly and with utmost friendliness and understanding. Still the best hotel in Ibiza and super well located. It's pricey but worthwhile.Guest review byOliverSwitzerland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 1,520 reviewsThis is by far the best hotel in Sant Antoni, breakfast was perfect, room with the venue view was large and we had everything we needed in the room. The pool party was super cool eventhough it was not the peak season yet when we stayed. It was clean, I do not have even a single complaint about the hotel, staff at all. Highly recommended for party people! Definitely coming back soon!Guest review bySametTurkey

Been returning a few times.
Been returning a few times. I always stay at the end of the bay as a solo traveller and get best both worlds. Great bus service to the airport all the way for just four euro. Lovely coastline walk around the bay well past marina and Cafe Mambo. Try some food at Skinny Kitchen. Simple cannot recommend O Beach enough, be prepared for an epic time. Pricey yes but worth it. Lockers available. I booked a tour online that included O Beach and Eden!!Guest review byPatriciaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Ibiza Town has lots to offer, whether it be enjoying a coffee at the harbour and watch the world go by or peruse many of the shops in both the old and new places in town. Also great connections with public and private transport 24/7.Guest review byJoelUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Staying in Playa d'en Bossa is great if your idea is to go clubbing and bars at night. It makes it easier to everything walking distance. However, if your trip also is for relaxing purposes or with family, I would rather choose another area of Ibiza and less expensive as well.Guest review byAngelaNetherlands - 10.0

The town is peaceful, as long as you don’t stay right in the center. There are plenty of shops around, including a Lidl where you can find everything you need for a longer stay. Within just 8 kilometers you’ll find several truly amazing beaches. Another highlight are the beautiful sunsets, which can be admired perfectly from this side of the island. For me, it was a perfect choice – ideal both for a family holiday with kids and for a getaway without them.Guest review byMarcinPoland - 8.0

Been many times. Plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets, all within reasonable walking distance. Parking for cars is difficult. Beaches were good, not great and water clarity was not very good this visit.Guest review byPaulAustralia - 10.0

Es Cana is an amazingn little town. Really friendly and our second trip here. First time with just adults but this time with our child who loved the beach, local activities, entertainment at Charlie's, amusements, Jacaranda Lounge. Just amazing. We'll be back again and again.Guest review byBelinda LoveUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Close to beach, good access to boat jetty and taxis. . Little bit corporate, lots of stairs, bit disjointed but there are lifts. Cleanliness in restaurant not good. Asked for a quiet room and was allocated one under the restaurant. Heard lots of noises, banging in one case, went to restaurant to bring it their attention, apparently they were chopping meat.Guest review bydeliaSpain - 8.0

Close to the ferry terminal, and also close to transportation to the old town. The City Boat ferry is very convenient but be careful - there are 4 ferries and you need to ensure you take the Talamanca ferry from the old town, otherwise you will be heading in the opposite direction.Guest review byScottUnited States - 10.0

Portinatx was small enough to walk everywhere and not too crowded. The beaches were groomed with beds and umbrellas and facilities close by. The water was clear and snorkelling good. There was a full range of bars and restaurants in walking distance from cheap and cheerful to pretty high end and impressive. We walked to 4 bays other than our own and snorkelled and swam and sunbathed. The town beaches are cleared of a fringe of seaweed every morning which is nice for easy entry into the water - some little bays don't do this so it accumulates a bit along the water's edge. Highly recommend water shoes as some of the rocks can be sharp but again plenty of people didn't wear them and got on fine. We ate at Rebrots which was worth seeking out, Los Enamorados with it's cool vibe and fab views, Resaurante El Puerto for the fish and our favourite for many reasons was Xiringuito Xuclar.Guest review byCarole - 8.0
