Perfect location in the heart of town. Friendly staff and the room was wonderful. Very clean and quiet, with lots of space.

Located 5 km from central Joensuu, Hotel Julie is peacefully surrounded by forest and nearby a lake, just a few minutes walk away. The hotel offers free WiFi, a bookable sauna and a restaurant.

When you look at the booking, the hotel doesnt look pretty attractive, but it certainly exceeded the rate and our expectation. Again, I agree that the hotel in general needs some renovation, but what comes to the rooms (our was twin with balcony - smoking allowed there), it is absolutely allright: newly renovated bathroom, very comfy beds, and even a big (and silent!) fridge, microwave, coffeemaker (didnt use either, but still). Few people in the hotel, so very quite, as quite as the location - not far from Joensuu, but far enough to be very quite. The bar and restaurant was open until 22:30 (kitchen until 21:00), pretty simple menu, but not overpriced and good food (we took basic burger and chicken basket). Breakfast is very good as well, not Hilton level, but everything from a porridge to eggs, from vegetables and sweets, so no complains at all. For the price we paid, more than perfect (esp. comparing to other hotels nearby).

This was our second time in Linnunlahti and definitely not the last. Very well decorated cottages, squeaky clean with everything one could wish for (even a MokkaMaker coffee machine 😀). Right next to the skiing tracks and a lake with a lovely beach. Thanks for everything!

It was easy to communicate with the owner. Instructions were clear. And we managed to enter to the apartment without any problem. Price to performance ratio is really high. Sheets has to be put onto the bed upon arrival and removed afterward. But nothing too complicated. Kitchen was slightly small, but everything one needs were inside. Location was superb, too. We really like it.
