great resort and facilities! we used the sauna and the outdoor jacuzzi continuously. The idea of a jacuzzi with a view of the forest outside was wonderful! The dinner was of very high quality. We were also impressed by their quick response when they saw that the trail to the jacuzzi and entrance was slightly icy. They immediately took care of it by laying small pebbles along the way.

The setting was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous snow and scenery. Very quite area. The rooms were stunning, had everything we needed. Very friendly, homely feeling. Its a family run hotel, the lady who was working the days we were staying was so friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to chat to our kids about there days trips and what plans they had when she would meet them outside. Taxis are about 30euro from the hotel to Santa Claus Village & City Centre.

A beautiful and peaceful place with a minimal-chic design in the rooms, blending so well with the amazing nature around. It is also a very eco-conscious hotel and all the staff are so welcoming, polite, helpful and warm. And the breakfast buffet is incredible and varied - I specifically recommend the local non alcoholic sparkling wine they serve, so refreshing! Cannot find a fault in this wonderful place - would give the Arctic Treehouse Hotel a "one of a kind" rating if I had this option. We stayed 3 nights but never wanted to leave..

Very nice location, close to Rovaniemi, outside the city. Ideal to stay with children. Fire in the hall and closeness to the River with views and nature was perfect for our stay. You can make fire at a wooden refuge 100m from the hotel close to the river. Kids enjoyed the Skimobile ride! Very recommendable. Sauna available for guests (kids allowed) is a must do. Thank you Mikko for your kind hospitality. We will be back!

    It's a big surprise for us because we didn't expect our room to have a large balcony from which you have a great view of the city river as well as the noon sunrise. The view is spectacular at night as well, with all the mist and fog that rise from the river. The hotel sauna and swimming pool are really great for relaxing after a day of activities in the extremely cold weather. The breakfast is great, with so much local food and variety. As the few local restaurants in Rovaniemi are always difficult to book, a breakfast here can easily compensate for the lack of a table for typical Finnish food.

    Very nice apartment in central location but we liked the most bed and mattress. We had c32. Interesting feature was the private sauna inside the flat. Once paid you can check in anytime, and remote check in is very efficient and simple, you'll get instructions by email.

    It was a lovely hotel, a great stay with plenty to do in the day time. We played bowling, went in the great spa and enjoyed a couple of drinks and a sandwich in the cafe. The rooms were really comfortable and well equipped.

    Summer trip to Rovaniemi: Lapland was in a heat wave which held us back a bit as it was rather humid. We enjoyed Arktikum very much, went swimming in the river, walked in the Arctic Gardens and explored the town centre. We planned some hiking but it was hotter than we expected. At end of July, sunset around midnight for only a short time, which is cool.
