The room was quiet. Our particular room overlooked the lake and was near the end of the hall, so we were way out in the woods and right next to the lake. The breakfast was really good--so many options! My daughter lost her phone and the front desk staff kindly called the place we thought it was lost. We only used housekeeping once, and they did a great job. The room was impeccably clean. We hiked around the lake many times, and even though it was raining, got hot in the sauna, then jumped in the lake. This made the swimming pool seem quite warm! It was relaxing to lie in our room with the window open and hear birds chirping and hawks calling out over the lake. We did rent a car and found it quite easy to park and ride the train into the city and take ferry rides out to islands.Guest review byLaraUnited States

Go south to see the magnificent sea, there is a magnificent 20 km Rantaraitti road by the sea. You can walk, run and cycle there. The road is illuminated and really safe to move around, because the richest residents of Finland live next to the road. For example, the directors of listed companies with their families and residents of embassies. I have also lived there myself. Apartment is new and well equipped for two.
Apartment is new and well equipped for two. Within 10-15 min drive there is everything from shopping to nature trails, golf etc. Host is kind and helpful, I much appreciated earlier check in and later check out. There is ni wi-fi as mentioned in description. The only thing I had problem with was dishwasher. The water was closed snd it took me quite some time to realize it. Good place to visit with kids.
Good place to visit with kids. Easy hiking tracks nearby in Porkkalaniemi and nice children's public parks in the city center, next to Kirsikka shopping center. Local Bistro O Mat was wonderful! Don't forget to visit the cute little Rehndahl animal farm.Guest review byElinaFinland - 10.0

We stayed in Espoo for one night,then stayed four in Helsinki. It was the best way of enjoying the snow (being Irish it is a novelty )and enjoying the peaceful forest surrounding the hotel. It was a great start to our christmas break before going into the city. It was magical and I did a morning hike around the grounds of the hotel. I like the countryside landscape. Driving the back roads in a clear autumn day is always a pleasure. Visited quite often the Porkkalaniemi outdoor recreation area and Meiko nature reserve. The landscape includes forest, sea/lake, and rocky shores.Guest review bySorin67Finland
