Very nice hotel in the centre of Nantes. Position close to the opera theatre and to the main road toward Place Royal. You can go out and find everything you need. My room was the basic one and it was very comfortable and clean.

The chateau is very stylish with a beautiful terrace with views over the swimming pool down to the sea in the distance. The staff are very polite and highly professional - they have obviously received extensive training. Our bedroom was in the main chateau, quite small but perfectly renovated with a brand new bathroom. We had dinner in the evening in the restaurant - again excellent service and the food was delicious and beautifully presented.

The location is fine if you are happy walking at least 20 minutes to anything. Our room was fantastic and breakfast in the room was great. The attached Restaurant was very good but top end prices. We will be going back for sure.

3 days was all we needed to see most of the city centre's attractions. The tourist information centre was very helpful. Some of the streets had many young people loitering with a very high police presence particularly later in the day and evening. The mechanical elephant is a must see.

Honestly, this is just not ok in 2025. I sleep about 160 nights per year in a hotel, normally 3 stars. F1 after their refurbishments is simply better. Wherever I go in "premiere classe", it's always like: "animals might just sleep here but not us". INVEST guys, how this chain survives, I don't know. Don't be mistaken, just a low price is not enough to survive. Knowing your business is, and that is never the case, in whatever "hotel" of them you sleep. Personally, this is my refuge when I need to sleep and have no other, more human options. All depending of my routing. Just do something, enjoy your business, make a proud company for owners and employees. Either the hotel chain doesn't have any money to invest or they don't want to. Either way, this goes bust one day as I strongly believe, after at least 10 years with, thank God, maximum 10 nights in this chain, will never happen.

Friendly and picturesque neighbourhood, with great little local shops and well-stocked small supermarket on the way to the enormous beach. Beach has lots of options for wind-sports hire, and other water activities. The beach cafes looked nice. Easy going, obviously some money around, a casino further down the prom. Almost exclusively French visitors and residents when we were there in mid-July. Appartment right next to train station, for easy SNCF to adjoining towns and Nantes. Nantes is fantastic and a highly recommended day trip. See the elephant! I was there with older kids, would be great with young ones too, or couple or solo.

It was just too small for the price.

It was just too small for the price. There was close to no floor space and the window could not be opened and the aircon was running non-stop and made the room unbearably hot. Not nice and the staff was not very service-minded.

I went to the Nantes Atlantic Airport a few times to take a plane but I don't really know the area. In general, the area around the Nantes Atlantic Airport is an industry area, car parks, warehouses. It is not a pleasant place to walk around. The airport is so small and nearly couldn't handle the demand of people or it only lacks of good management. I believe that they are going to build a new airport, bigger, more modern very soon. We go there because we could have a direct flight to a few destinations from there. The long term car park is at reasonable price. All this makes our trips well time managed. There could be some pleasant places to visit but I am not aware of. And you need to have a car. The connections between Nantes City Centre and the airport is still confusing. And there should be paid navette serving the Airport and the near by beautiful areas. So the travellers without transport could have more choices of hotels instead of paying a high price to the rare few hotels opposite the airport. Thank you for an opportunity to share my thoughts.

I appreciated the comfortable accommodation and, the free parking at the hotel and the price of the breakfast included in the price of the room. My only problem with this hotel is the difficulty to find it; it is part of a commercial estate hidden from the road.

This was our first time on this coastline, so did not know what to expect. Pornic exceeded our expectations. The harbour is surrounded by numerous restaurants and café bars with a range of prices. We found a regular venue for our coffee and tried several restaurants for evening meals. Good value for money! We found the locals very helpful. They did not find our lack of French language an inconvenience and attempted to communicate with us. We visited several of the surrounding beaches. They were not overcrowded and had good facilities. We fell in love with this area and will definitely be back.

Pornichet offers a good mix of beaches, a vast, wide sandy beach for swimming, sunbathing and watersports as well as a slightly wilder beach for rock pooling etc. There are sailing events at the Marina as well as a mixture of other events throughout the year. There is a good selection of restaurants and bars and an excellent market twice a week.

All the people we met were quite nice and polite, Uber provides a good service and their drivers are very friendly. The food in Nanes always proved to be excellent at all levels of establishments. Shopping is fantastic, and the churches and castle are great to visit.

La Baule is a lovely town to walk around and explore.The people are very friendly. The huge beach and the cafes are fantastic. There are some really good shops to browse and a market a few days a week. We often ate at club L'ocean which is a restaurant on the beach, The menu, the service ,views and atmosphere were great! We mostly walked around but there is a little bus from the train station that works well.
