Every thing! We went for a spa weekend with our french bulldog (which sleeps a lot) and everything was perfect. The room was comfortable with enough space to walk around, the bathroom was very warm. This room was a little outdated but very charming. The spa facilities are definitely high standards, 2 different sauna, a hamman, a pool with jacuzzi space, everything is made to relax. The restaurant was also great, food was qualitative and servings a good size. The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. Special ++ for the delicious easter cake on the door step on the Sunday morning!

Beautiful hotel in a charming village surrounded by vinyards and gorgeous scenery. Friendly professional staff. Excellent facilities, lovely pool and spa area. Fabulous food options in stylish restaurants. We got an upgrade to a suite, which was lovely. Breakfast plentiful and varied, great coffee too. Exceptionally clean. In one word: superb! Staff was very competent. The studio was cosy, practical and clean. The jacuzzi and pool were a great treat after a long day hiking. The yard of the place is very stylish. A visit to a winery and tasting was included in the price, unfortunately it didn't fit to our hiking program. The hotel is located in a typical and beautiful Alsace village.

It's a very small village with few to many wine tasting possibilities, depending on the season. The pathetic thing is to book and then go to a restaurant else they don't entertain. Go to the next village and it's like a city.

Alsace is a unique region, of which Turckheim is a typical example of heritage and modernity. The wines are famous worldwide, the Cave de Turckheim is just outside the town walls surrounded by vines as far as the eye can see. Their restaurant Caveau du vigneron is the best in town.

Barr is an idyllic quiet town surrounded by gorgeous vineyards. It is very walkable and has regular trains passing through. Everyone was very friendly and even though I didn’t speak French, I got around with gestures and smiles. We went to Mt San Odile which was gorgeous and stopped at a winery to purchase local white wines. Definitely consider Barr if you are visiting Alsace
