The service was second to none. Everything was easy - the front desk arranged private transfers for us throughout our stay and we had communication with them via whatsapp for instant service. When we arrived, we received a very warm welcome and complimentary chilled bottle of wine in our room with other items, and everyone was so friendly throughout our stay. The room was also excellent and was tidied every morning while we were at breakfast. They had an evening service if you wished with a complimentary dessert, too. The Old Town of Chania is a great place to wander around, there are so many little streets lined with local restaurants, cafe's, craft shops, clothing and of course local food and drink. In the main, all the restaurants served quite similar food including Cretan Specials, but with their own individual twist to it. If you like Italian for a change, Veneto Ristorante Italiano is the one to go for, but you should book in advance if you want a specific time and no waiting around. This not just a Pizza restaurant, all their food is excellent and the waiters are a pleasure to deal with, so is the owner himself, quite a character. If you like historic locations, then this is a little gem, the Venetian Port/Harbour including lighthouse is a nice walk, also plenty of Bar / Restaurants to quench your this or hunger. In summary, this is a great place to relax in, take a boat trip or just have a wander, glad we chose Chania Old Town, it was a great week.Guest review byWayneUnited Kingdom - 6.0

While Fira and Santorini in general is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, I do think it has become very touristy. However, it is definitely worth visiting once and it was nice to relax there especially after a trip to Athens. Beware though for anyone who has trouble climbing stairs. Most of the cliffside hotels can be challenging to get to, so do your research before booking anything. One highly recommended restaurant is RIZES. Service was ok, BUT THE RESTAURANT IS BEAUTIFUL AND FOOD FANTASTIC! Our best meal in Greece.Guest review byParulUnited States - 8.0

Mikonos is very cute but very small, probably two or three days is enough to stay there, more than enough but if you are in a boat could be a different experience.
