FAQs about hotels on Milos
The Island of Lovers
Known as the island of lovers because of the statue of Aphrodite (“Venus of Milo”), which is exhibited in the Louvre Museum of Paris, Milos is very unique thanks to its spectacular rock structures. This romantic destination is a great choice for honeymooners.
Rich in history, Milos was one of the earliest civilisations of the Cyclades islands. Built on a hill overlooking the sea, the picturesque town of Plaka is the island’s capital. Adamas is the main port and offers a selection of tourist facilities and accommodation.
Visit the small fishing village of Pollonia and relax in one of the traditional taverns by the waterfront. Booking.com will help you find a nice hotel, guest house or apartment in the area. Firopotamos is a graphic small village with crystal clear blue waters and little fishermen houses.
Milos has some of the most famous Greek beaches like the sandy beach of Tsigrado and the beautiful organised beach of Agia Kiriaki. The volcanic beach of Sarakiniko is the most photographed one, while the Paleochori is a popular touristic resort with watersports facilities.
A must-do option is having a tour of the island by boat. The island has stunning beaches with turquoise waters and geological forms that are not accessible by car.

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 121 reviewsWe had read some reviews about the road to Milos Cove being a bit tricky, so we were a little nervous at first—but it turned out to be absolutely fine! We made it easily with a small car, and the drive took us through beautiful fields with stunning views. The location of the hotel is simply amazing—serene and peaceful, giving us the privacy and relaxation we were looking for. At the same time, it’s just 20 minutes from everything, so it was easy to explore the rest of the island. The staff were excellent—warm, helpful, and always available. We also loved the buggy rides to and from the beach, a fun and convenient touch. The highlight for us was definitely the restaurant. Everything—from breakfast to dinner—was incredibly fresh and delicious, with plenty of great options. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Milos Cove. We’ll definitely be back next year!Guest review bySAMANTHAUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 318 reviewsThe hotel is placed in the town of Milos and very close to the port. Quiet and clean. The rooms were very nice and the personell was very polite and professional. The price was very good for the period of traveling. (May). In the price is included and a very complete breakfast wich is prepared personally and it's quality is very high. It seems that these people (it's a family owned hotel and the family is working in the hotel!!), are taking under serious consideration the quality in their jobs. They respect the customer. Very friendly as well. Generally I suggest this hotel as an easy solution for your accommodation in beautiful Milos.Guest review byPanagiotisGreece
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 253 reviewsWe had an amazing stay at Hawk Stone. The room was big, well decorated and had a fantastic view of the sea. We were lucky to have breakfast in the room and we enjoyed having it in our private terrace. The bed was also very comfortable. Our host, Perros was really thoughtful and took care of us from Day 1 when we met him at the port to Morning 1 when he ordered extra large coffees for us and all along our stay. Always smiling, he recommended places for all activities and proposed to book them for us. He did everything he could to make sure we had a pleasant stay and it worked as a charm. Thank you for these magical days!Guest review byJoannaFrance
- From US$89.81 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 235 reviewsOverall the property was easy to reach, has a great location closed to the town and restaurants, yet is off the main road so it is nice and quiet. The staff were friendly and gave great advice on what to do and where to go. In terms of the apartment, it was well equipped and had everything we needed. It is very well run. We were super happy with our choice and would highly recommend Milos Bay Suite.Guest review byCorneliusNetherlands

This island is part of the Cyclades however; it has it's own distinct beauty. In order to really see Milos and all of it's gorgeous beaches, rock formations, history, villages, etc., you definitely need transportation. The beauty of the island requires discovery. I highly recommend renting an ATV or buggy to really explore the island at your leisure. Staying in one of the major "Chora's" is also recommended so that in the evening, you can walk to all the shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Milos is stunning and worth visiting!Guest review byELLIECanada - 10.0
Pollonia is lovely.
Pollonia is lovely. Beautiful restaurants on the beach (Although quite pricy ) You should walk and explore the area. There are pretty coves and cliffs to see. There are busses from Pollonia to other parts of the island. However, you have to take the bus to Adamas first as Adamas is the bus hub and all busses leave from there to other points of interest. But it is still workable if you are based in Pollonia and Pollonia is quieter than Adams. There is a lovely bakery in Pollonia too and we enjoyed the beachGuest review byBeverleySouth Africa - 10.0

Very quaint old town Lovely scenery Good buzzy vibe Good walks Easy to get to places of interest such as catacombs, amphitheater, Klima Good restaurants and shops - we particularly enjoyed meals at Kyra - a bit pricey but good food, wine and vibe. We also enjoyed drinks at Piazza Cadtello and Mine BarGuest review byJaneUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Milos, in general, is not a very big island so you can get to a lot of it within 20 min drive. Most of the beaches we found are not organized (no lounge chairs and no umbrellas), which makes for beautiful beaches but not a lot of shade. Which means you need to bring those items with you if you want to relax on the beach when the sun is strong. Provatas is on the southern side of Milos and most beaches on this side of the island are off long dirt/sandy roads and are very popular, so you need to go early to park near the beach and have a car that can handle the steep dirt rocky roads. But again, bring something that can give you shade, we found the tourist maps were wrong with which beaches actually are organized. The beaches and rocks formation on Milos are absolutely gorgeous, you will love it! Personally, we preferred to stay out of the town in places like Provatas, to get away from all the crowds and traffic. Once you are out of the main towns, the crowds and traffic drop off quickly and you have a very quiet, peaceful stay.Guest review byPeterUnited States - 10.0
If you like quiet, peace, and seclusion, this is your spot.
If you like quiet, peace, and seclusion, this is your spot. It was a postcard moment at a truly wonderful venue. The Artemis Seaside Resort was the highlight, but the journey getting there, especially on an ATV, was amazing. The views are breathtaking and everyone we met was amazing. Don't leave Milos until you visit this area, it's worth the incredible drive!Guest review byPanosUnited States - 10.0

It’s quiet, the water is amazing and you can swim/walk around to a quiet little cove which is just beautiful. Also near the car park area there are a few small houses and a cool place to jump off the cliff/ steps. Not high just right.Guest review byJosePortugal - 10.0

Im sure instagram is responsible for the hype around Klima, and its totally understandable, so be prepared for it to be very busy in high season. But it really is beautiful, and if youre on Milos for a few days, its somewhere you definitely need to see.Guest review byEdwardUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Triovasalos is very conveniently located: provides easy access to the Hora (Plaka) and is central to the north-east part of the island. The central road provides a number of amenities (best souvlaki, excellent coffee shop, banks and a number of other shops). However, the central road (Karodromos) is quite busy and practically impossible to walk, since there are no pavements.Guest review byFragkiskos VellisUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Very beautiful beach.
Very beautiful beach. A nice long beach that is not too busy. The sea colour is lovely. There are large white stones along the edges that are very pretty, just hard on the feet. We had a lovely swim here. Some boat trips also leave from here. There is a pretty good restaurant on the beach front - just a little pricy.Guest review byBeverleySouth Africa
