I like the location (not busy center, but close the the venetian castle, central) and comfort in the hotel. Stuff was helpful all the time. Also suggested nice places to visit and for lunch or drink. They also facilite hiring a car at a good price. The hotel (majority of it) was renovated in the Cycladic style, with spacious shower and rooms, met all my expectations. The rooms have very beautiful design and decorations. Balconies with chairs allow you to relax in the evening or have breakfast. The bangalows are built among the pine trees. Very picturesque and quiet, far from the street. Beds and pillows are very comfy. I like that there were nets in the windows and A/C was quiet and far from the bed. The rooms were serviced every day, thank you for the effort! That made the stay very pleasant.

Beautifully built, fab location really close to lots of places to eat and mini markets. 2 mins walk to bus stop that goes to Naxos town every 30 mins. Great breakfast and friendly staff. We had the most relaxing and great time,highly recommended.

Outstanding place. It is very close to the action (supermarket, restaurants, bars, beach) but still quiet at night. Very modern, very clean, strong wifi and AC, comfortable bed, honestly couldn't find any fault. The hosts were also very kind and helpful in every way.

This was our best stay in our whole Greek Vacation. The rooms were amazing, super confortable, spacious, had all the ammenities we needed and right by the pool. The staff was very nice and breakfast was great. It is within walkable distance to some beaches and a couple coffees/restaurants. If we are again in Naxos, we will absolutely choose Cosmos again!

The hotel is new, nicely decorated rooms and a general welcoming attitude from the staff. Marios gave us a few tips and local knowledge regarding the island during check-in, which I found really helpful, especially since it was our first time in Naxos. Our room was quite spacious, cleaned on a daily basis, and had 2 big balconies to chill as well. Breakfast was generous and had a variety of products to choose from. I would only recommend visiting with a car or motorbike as it is slightly remote. (~30 min drive to Chora) wasn't a problem for me as I needed a more relaxed place to stay. The pool was a decent size and generally clean, but it often had flies and/or other insects drown in it. It's a rural area, so it's understandable, but maybe it could be cleaned a little more often with a net.

1) the studio is very clean and cozy and the host Lefteris is very helpful and accommodating. 2) Given that it’s the fall season, it is a pleasant 1.2 km walk from and to the port area. It is easy to locate Sweet Home using Google map. Taking the public bus from Sweet Home is pretty convenient too. 3) Though there is no kettle nor a microwave oven, everything that I need and that is provided (stove, fridge) works perfectly. It will be great to have a smaller pot for boiling water As for the safe, TV and coffee machine, I have no use for them. 4) Wifi signal is strong and the hot water in the bathroom works so well that I enjoy every shower at the end of a long day. 5) There are so many power points all over the studios… enough for a party of three to charge all their phones, cameras etc at the same time.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Goldensun Hotel in Naxos. The hotel was fantastic — everything from the facilities to the cleanliness exceeded my expectations. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful, making us feel right at home. The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning and added so much to the overall experience. I also found the value for money to be excellent — a perfect combination of comfort and affordability. The hotel is very family-friendly, and my family and I had a great time during our stay. The environment was safe, relaxed, and enjoyable for both adults and children. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Naxos.

The location is perfect! Just a few minutes from the local beach and also from the old town. The owner, Mr Fanis was great! There was a Supermarket 2 min down the street with everything you needed for the day. Across the street from the Supermarket was Tony's rent a car, where we met great people which rented us a nice Fiat 500 cabrio for touring the island! We also got a discount because we stayed at Hotel Rea.

It's a very attractive place to stay and a good centre for visiting the rest of this fascinating island. The narrow streets in the old area around the citadel are fascinating to explore. Very wide choice of excellent restaurants, most of them very reasonably priced. Staff are invariably pleasant and helpful, and usually speak English fluently. The bus office is also a great facility.

Plaka has a fantastic beach and many restaurants. It is a place to be but not be all day every day. This was not our goal for vacation. We drove up into the mountains to Rotunda for lunch, to Johnny's for a dinner and to see schools, many small villages and their orthodox churches, filled with icons! You can take a marble carving class with Maggie Ross! Naxos has much more to offer than beaches. Paragliding was also exciting to watch in the south. Chora and the harbor were fun to experiences. There are many opportunities waiting to be enjoyed beyond the beaches on Naxos!

Very nice big calm beach but unfortunately I went in October and some days it rained. I would recommend going also to a beach a little south called Mikri Vigla where you can find smaller more intimate beaches.

Unfriendly owners. Don’t make the mistake and eat in the only other taverna- you won’t get any breakfast and they will treat you like enemies…. If the owners won’t change their habit stay away from this family!

Hotel was difficult to find. It didn't show on Google maps. Eventually found out about 100 meters north out of town where one market is directly across the street from another market. The market on the right out of town essentially checks you in.

The best was the people, they are very nice and good...

The best was the people, they are very nice and good restaurants. Also there are other activities that you can do in this town like hiking and swimming. The only thing was that in September was kind of windy.

I recommend hiring a quad bike to explore more beaches and the inland areas. This location is very good for if you have a quad bike as you can travel between the old town and the beaches along the coast on the other side, as well as inland. Quad hire is very reasonably priced and the company we used is very nearby. This is a lovely peaceful area. Groceries are a little expensive and there is a bigger supermarket than the one on the corner that has some more options. There are many lovely restaurants a very short walk from the accommodation, along the beach. A few have seating on the actual sand which is really special and romantic for couples.

lovely place to stay at and best of all Tosas mom was the sweetest and makes all homemade goods and breakfast, youll never get hungry here . we were greeted with plentiful of fruits and homebaked goods.the place was quiet and had the best views of the town and seaview..we wished we stayed here longer..they clean the place everyday and provides fresh towels and beddings changed everyday. Tosas had given us ideas to where to go and see some attractions and restaurants too.. we loved our stay here..

Apeiranthos is a really lovely village up in the mountains...

Apeiranthos is a really lovely village up in the mountains of Naxos. You park just outside the village then walk in to the village. It’s steep but there is a level walk you can follow for the majority of your visit if you do not feel able to explore. If you do, you are rewarded with magical alleyways and a maze of paths and views with little churches etc. The restaurants are fantastic in the village. You can sit and eat in little squares or look out from terraces to the countryside below. If you have a car you can explore nearby villages, churches and coast.

The people in Naxos were all so kind and thoughtful.

The people in Naxos were all so kind and thoughtful. The town felt very authentic. The food was delicious. The island had many charming places , but was difficult to navigate. GPS often took you off main roads and into areas difficult to drive and easy to get lost.
