I cannot recommend Sifnos‘s house highly enough! George and Dora made our family feel so at home, comfortable, so welcome and really enhanced our stay in Sifnos. We stayed in the Galaxea apartment, which was superb. Two well designed bedrooms with excellent Aircon, one en suite, and an extra bathroom, and a lovely sitting area inside as well as a shaded table and sun spot outside. George helped us plan our itinerary, booked us sun loungers and had even organised to treat us to a delicious octopus starter as a surprise when we arrived at the beach! The rooms were serviced every day, beds made towels refreshed if we needed them. There is a delicious breakfast that is included and our apartment had a small but well equipped kitchenette, with stove and fridge, had we wanted to make our own food. We absolutely adored our stay at Sifnos house. When we left, George and Dora even gifted us with a ceramic platter as a parting gift, we were so touched. Do yourself favor and book yourself in. We’re going back!

First of all, we are very happy to have met Maria and her sweet nephew. The location of the facility, the garden, and the houses were all better than we expected. Even though we only stayed for three nights, our room was cleaned every day and our coffee was replenished. We were very pleased with our stay here in Sifnos and would recommend it to everyone. We had a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful time at Filadaki. The villa and the views were even better than the pictures. Our wonderful hostess not only picked us up from the port and brought us back when we left, but she provided food and wine to welcome us to the property. She was very responsive to all of our inquiries. This is a great place to stay, and several families could rent out the other properties as well. The house was kept in pristine condition, and everything was bright and lovely. Outdoor space was great!

Anthony was so accommodating and generous — helping us with everything from advice about car rental, restaurant recommendations for the island and even with finding a very sentimental lost item. We loved the hotel, perched atop the hill within 15 minutes walking distance to the quant harbour village of Faros — perfect for viewing sunrise, sunset, and enjoying the sounds of the mid September morning winds.

The atmosphere the team has created is so relaxing. The staff are friendly and super attentive, the food was great and the rooms well maintained. The location is perfect, right across from the beach and very private with a beautiful outlook from the balcony off the room.

Appolonia is a good base to explore the island.

Appolonia is a good base to explore the island. You can take a bus to all the major beaches/towns from here. Appolonia itself is a sweet town with lovely, welcoming people. There are also a number of really nice shops along the main walking street and restaurants. Finally, if you plan to hike around the trails of Sifnos Appolonia is the perfect place to start from.

Melianthos Villas are an oasis -- could not be nicer, cleaner, more welcoming, better appointed. I loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat. Great design, pristine rooms, great daily breakfast, amazing views, the nicest hotel manager Demetrius.

Sifnos is a beautiful island.

Sifnos is a beautiful island. We road the buses (public transportation) for two days, very clean and rates were 2 Euros. We then rented a car for two days to see some of the more remote areas. Food is fantastic.

Everything the beaches, restaurants, staff. Our accommodation at lodge narlis was awesome as were staff. No breakfast provided but that didn’t matter lots of restaurants near by for breakfast. Bus service fantastic for Apollonia, Kastro etc lots of day trips and sights to see.

Sifnos is a beautiful island which is very unspoilt and yet also has an air of sophistication. It has many different spots to visit and the food is absolutely delicious. There are some gorgeous beaches on the island. We would highly recommend visiting!

Perfect and scenic location to explore Sifnos from. Kastro is a beautiful village and you can walk around it enjoying the breathtaking sea view. It also offers excellent restaurant and bar options for every taste!

Faros is a lovely small village with no through road.

Faros is a lovely small village with no through road. It has three beaches within a few monists walk and if you sent off and walk around the big headland, you get another within say half an hour. There is a bar, mini market, a couple fo tavernas ( one better than the other by far) and a posh-isn fish restaurant. There is a bus service but we had a car which was a boon. The island is small so you can get to see other places in very easy timescales. There is huge influx of both Greek and (largely) French tourists in July and August which the locals were both dreading and of course, needing. Best avoid those months if you can.

Excellent venue!

Excellent venue! Did not plan to cook, but with fresh fruit and vegetables available on the property, could not resist! The refurbished windmill and farmhouse were stunning and the little pool just right. Special mention to George (the host), absolutely charming host: friendly, welcoming and always available. We chanced on him at his bar "The Lost Bay" in Platis Yialos (excellent little venue) and his generosity was boundless. A top experience... highly recommended! Best way to get a real feeling of Siphnos!

Apollonia is a lovely town, and a really great base for exploring the island. The views are beautiful, there are great places to eat and drink, as well as shops selling local goods. It’s very close to a village which is full of ceramics workshops, and we loved visiting and meeting some of the potters and buying directly from them. The town is a short drive from pretty much every other place on the island. It has lovely views and is quiet and safe. It was my first time visiting and I’ll definitely return in future, Sifnos is my favourite Greek island that I’ve visited so far.

Vathi is is a beautiful place to spend some time relaxing. The Thymari Villas are spotlessly clean - cleaned every day by staff - every possible item is there: AC, overhead fan, well stocked kitchenette, comfortable furniture and space outside to enjoy a wonderful view over the harbour. Margarita couldn't be more helpful. It wold be difficult to beat this place for a stay
