Great hotel. There is silence around, you can sleep with the door to the balcony open. A varied breakfast, a functional SPA center. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean. Convenient parking. You can also take half board - the dinners are delicious. We were with the dog - a couch and a bowl were prepared in the room for the dog.

It was a great vacation and rest! Cozy private Lake beach and many water activities inside. Big various and delicitions buffet table. Room is comfort and look nice. WiFi was very good. You can also rent a bike and see city of Keszthely, which is also very nice. Personal was very helpful.

Amazing Hotel, really nice room, great toiletries, etc. The breakfast is the best hotel buffet I had in a long time. But the best thing about this hotel is the atmosphere, the buildings are beautifully restored thatched dependencies of the monastery. Staying here is a no brainer if you pass by the Balaton lake area.

Free parking in front of the property, rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff were exceptionally welcoming, helpful and always there for you. We never felt neglected even for a moment. Special kudos for receptionists, property manager and the lady who makes the best fluffiest scrambled eggs :) Property offers free bicycles which are very well maintained and free spa and wellnes options. Also they have billiards, table tennis, table football, picado etc. so if you happen to stay indoors you won’t get bored easily.

The staff (receptionists, Zalán - the bell boy, the restaurant staff, the masseuse, the ladies at the café) were all super kind, polite and professionals. When I checked in, I asked for some information about the massage. The receptionist remembered my request and introduced the masseuse to me while I was at the café. In the evening, he still remembered my room number when we went to have dinner - exceptionally professional! The room was clean and comfortable, the spa was enjoyable and super clean! There are restaurants around the hotel, the town centre is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The food (we had breakfast and dinner) was amazing, we could choose from a big variety of dishes, and the coffee was amazing! We went there by car; the hotel has its own big car park, it's safe and only the hotel guests have access to it by using a card which opens the gate. There are different facilities for small children, the best is the bouncy inflatable castle. All in all, I can highly recommend this hotel to families, couples and solo travellers too.

I stayed in a renovated room and everything was new and clean, with a beautiful view of Lake Balaton and the park from the balcony. Breakfast was the same every day but offered a wide selection. I personally missed having some bacon and pancakes. Dinners are totally worth it, soft drinks are included. There’s a large paid parking area in front of the hotel, and if it’s full, the staff is very helpful. They speak fluent English. Each floor has a terrace with a panoramic view of Balaton, which is a great bonus. In front of the hotel there’s a large pool, and the hotel also has its own private beach, the whole area is very well maintained.

It’s a perfect place if you want to relax in a quiet environment. The garden is well maintained, the pool’s temperature was perfect. The rooms were clean, it had every basic equipment in the kitchen that we needed for a few days. There are some rules that the owner kindly asked us to follow and to respect the others who stayed at the property. The owner was nice, flexible with our groups arrival, and even gave us the keys in advance. If you looking for a place where you can relax for a great price, it’s perfect. Stores, beaches, train stations are in walking distance.

The Csontvary Museum, The Zsolnay Museum and the Vasarely...

The Csontvary Museum, The Zsolnay Museum and the Vasarely Museum were real treats. The Cathedral and the Mosque now a Catholic Church are really impressive. We were there only for two days and we could not cram any more into them. There are so many more museums in Pecs and we could have filled two more days! The restaurant pizzeria L'Elefante makes an authentic Neapolitan pizza. We had a good latte and turos batyu in the Aranycipo coffee shop,

It's a nice place where you can spend a great holiday.

It's a nice place where you can spend a great holiday. You have a lot of bike lanes to ride on. The lake is usually nice but sometimes it can be really muddy. A lot of restaurants so you surely can find something to eat. Overall a great place to be during summer and autumn.

Balatonfured is a great spot for families with children. There are many water activities / boat trips to nearby resorts etc.... As a couple, we were interested in exploring the wines of the region and were fortunate to arrive during a time when all the major wine producers of the surrounding area had stalls on the promenade of Balatonfured along the lake as well as local food. It is easy to get to Balatonfured from Budapest by train and once, there, to get around on foot. Many people cycle though.

Beautiful city, so much to see and visited.Many good restaurants even for sort walk from the accommodation. People are very friendly and helpful if u needs. Taxi is cheap enough to get around. Food and snacks are available everywhere and is affordable .

There is nothing to see, just Balaton lake.

There is nothing to see, just Balaton lake. But, for us that was the reason to come since we wanted to avoid any outside activities. Just wanted to do be in the hotel and enjoy in SPA! Will come back for sure!

Nice small town, everything is walking distance. I would recommend Harkany Thermal spa where the whole family will enjoy. And if you want a special experience, take a swim in the outside pool in wintertime 😊

During our stay, my husband and I, along with just one other couple, were the only visitors in the entire village. Almost nothing was open, and the village felt completely quiet. With such low tourist activity and few amenities available, I expected a more flexible price or better services.

Nice, small city with (paid) beach at Balaton lake. Full of tourist in the centre(parkings also paid) but if you go uphill - towards hills - you can find not only delicious wine but relaxing atmosphere.

Beautiful excursion place - Hungarian Provence.

Beautiful excursion place - Hungarian Provence. I recommend visiting outside the main tourist season. The prices are higher, but the place offers an excellent starting point for walking, cycling or car tourism around Lake Balaton.

We liked the exhibition at the synagogue and the catacombs by the cathedral. The buildings in and around the main square have been tastefully restored. The modern shopping centre close to the hotel was impressive.
