In the small, charming village of Johnstownbridge, on the border of County Kildare and County Meath, this brand-new hotel offers modern comforts and facilities, including free Wi-Fi. I had an amazing experience with the Hamlet. The room was clean, organized, with a lot of space. It had a bath and a shower. All the people there were very welcoming, helpful and nice with us, from the reception to the pub. The food at the pub was so good and worth the price. Great quality/price balance.

Built by the Earl of Darnley in the 19th century, today the Darnley Lodge Hotel offers en suite rooms, live music and a well-stocked bar. Free parking is available. Our first night in Ireland and my wife and I could not have asked for a better start. Joe met us in the dining room after a late arrival at 8.15pm driving from Dublin. He ensured that not only did we have a hearty dinner, he also carried our heavy bags up to our second floor room. Such a warm and friendly welcome to Ireland! Thanks so much, Joe and staff!

The Station House Hotel is nestled in breathtaking gardens and woodland. The comfortable haven has been lovingly restored from a converted railway station. Beautiful historical property, very professional staff . Great food. Very nice atmosphere.

By the River Boyne, the friendly Castle Arch offers large en suite rooms, seasonal food, and free parking. Dublin is a 35-minute drive away. I purchased this for my daughter and her partner. They have a 1 year old and have not had a nights sleep in a long time. I got a call from the hotel saying there was a function on the night they were due to stay and I explained that they needed sleep and to put them as far away from the noise as possible. I got a call from my daughter after they arrived and they had been upgraded to a suite they were thrilled and said everyone was so nice to them they really enjoyed their stay and I have recommended it to my friend and they are going to book their family Christmas get together there now
