This is a beautiful hotel in an amazing location. The Lake Myvatn area around the hotel was everything we hoped for and more. The trails around the nearby lake offered excellent walking and hiking. The hotel is quite close to other area attractions including the Myvatn baths. The included breakfast was exceptional with more choices than one could hope to work through in a stay of several days. Dinner in the restaurant was also very good and service from hotel and restaurant staff was very good. We enjoyed our stay.

A lovely place, slightly off the main road, with clean and comfortable rooms. The shared kitchen is large and very convenient. The surroundings are quiet and remote, creating a peaceful atmosphere. We saw the most beautiful Northern Lights of our trip here.

The breakfast was a typical Icelandic breakfast. They had little extras though like homemade rhubarb and orange lemon jam. Also they had a tea that was made from a herb that is found around there.

Very good breakfast whit self made waffle, home made jams. The diner with lamb was good, also the warm home made rubarber. There are 2 hot tubs beside the place to use. Good WiFi and very friendly waitresses.
