The attention to detail is evident, the comfort level is extraordinary and the multi-lingual staff is very professional and welcoming. The appealing and. beautifully kept communal areas even include a pool with ocean view and a rooftop restaurant and sitting area overlooking the coastline.     Due to the weather conditions of the beginnig of October we could not go bathing in the sea but endless walks provide unforgottable memories. Picturesque views everywhere, lovely streets, delicious food, polite service, reasonable prices. Public transport is frequent, cheap and fast. Car rental is also available but I must take a remark on traffic and driving manner in Bari: comparing with Hungary Italian drivers have much more freedom of traffic rules. They are not fined for every little mistakes as we are in Hungary but still they don't kill anyone and drivers are still kind with one . another. Funny to see them just hoot a short warning the others they are coming. In my country they would be fined immediately even for hooting. So I just love their way if life by all means.

    Beautiful old town, with a huge number of restaurants and bars. Food was excellent throughout. Staff everywhere were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to help. We visited in September and it was very busy - We can only imagine it is too crowded and too hot in peak summer months. Be aware that beaches are small, but there are a number of them, within walking distance, or by taxi to larger beach clubs. The old town is really beautiful, with tiny streets, squares and alleyways. Worth packing comfy shoes and just wandering.

    Polignano a Mare is very much a tourist destination with lots of people packed into a small centre. It is worth a visit but perhaps not an extended stay when there are so many other (more interesting) places to visit in Puglia.

    Giovinazzo is a great little town, especially the historic centre. Less touristy than other places. Great fun exploring the little alleyways and squares. Plenty of restaurants serving excellent food,though we struggled to find just bars...we were there towards the end of their season though, so maybe more options in peak season? A good base for visiting Bari, Trani plus other sights inland

    We love Altamura and its people.

    We love Altamura and its people. My grandparents came from here and it feels like home. The culture and rhythm of this city truly reflects Italian Life! It is not overpopulated with tourists. Definitely worth coming to if you want to feel relaxed and be a part of Italian life!

    Lovely typical authentic Italian town with interesting Centro Storico with its good range of cafes, restaurants and historical sights. No Sky Sports bars, Irish pubs or Sunday Roast Beef dinners (thankfully) ! Very family friendly and a good base to explore the wider area. Definitely not a tourist trap - mostly locals
