I arrived at Iglesias late and tired. Davide was very kind and volunteered without my asking to pick me up from station. I resided at Villa Eclesiae for nearly a month. I had absolutely everything in the apartment for my long sojourn. The place was spotlessly clean when I arrived and remained so throughout my stay thanks to weekly thorough cleaning by the host. Even the differentiated rubbish was taken care of for me. Davide went further than just being a good host and provided me with information on all kind of matters. Without hesitation I can recommend staying here for both short and long stays. Last but not least, the cost is very competitive and you’re within the walled centre of this beautiful town. Thank you.

    If you like peace and quiet, this accomodation is for you. The whole property is surrounded with nature and we really enjoyed it. The appartment was very spacious and clean. It had everything you could possibly need: big and beautiful kitchen with an oven, microwave, toaster, water heater, coffee maker and even Nespresso Dolce gusto machine. We were welcomed with a tasty treat and a cold water bottle. The bathroom was clean and had very handy dispensers with soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. If you need to wash the clothes, there is also a washing machine, hanging rack and pins. The bedroom was big and had an amazing firm matress and also a suitcase stand. The best part is obviously the pool which was very clean and beautiful. You can use the sun lounges freely. The weather was a little cold when we were there and also I got sick so I plan to come back to experience it fully. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We got fresh linen and towels after 3 days. You also get towels for the beach or the pool.

    The location is perfect. View from the Agriturismo terrace stunningly beautiful. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast was very good. The owners make their own home made cheese, salami and cakes. We ate a truly delicious Sardinian dinner as well from there. There are some of the best Sardinian beaches near Agriturismo Costa Verde. Would definitely go again.

    The restaurant of the hotel is outstanding. Also, the breakfast is much better than the usual Italian-style breakfast. All employees are very accommodating and can speak English very well. I can really recommend this place. It is a real treasure.

    Iglesias is a great location as a base camp to travel to Porto Flavia, Carbonia, grotte or old mineries. Also old town of Iglesias consists of many restaurants. The center of the town is charming, you can eat great and take a walk.

    We were unlucky as during our 3-day stay the sea got very rough, the Mistral was blowing, so we only managed to get into the sea one day. I can imagine it must be very different if you can go out on the dinghy tours of the caves etc. I would strongly recommend driving to Nebida and doing the walk along the sea towards the Pan di Zucchero views. The SP83, the road into and out of Buggerru, requires quite strong driving skills and nerves. We preferred the route southward.

    Arbus is a pleasant city to stay in as a base for trips to the beaches on the west side of Sardinia, specifically Scivu and Piscinas. Unfortunately, the drive there is pretty long and challenging. In addition, despite beaches being long and picturesque, they are also very windy. It is difficult to swim there because of strong wind and waves. Not sure if the effort to get there is worth it…

    Nice isolated village with fantastic wide sandy beach and dunes. Village has a few good restaurants (Mates is really good seafood one!), food stores, pharmacy, local markets. Location is quiet with cozy and relaxing atmosphere!

    Fantastic location for hill walkers, many walks & a Camino all around. Great history regarding mining as there were many including the famous Porto Flavio. Lovely pizza restaurant in Nebida overlooking the sea, well worth a visit. Nearby town Iglesias is lovely & we had a great lunch in Al Risto, highly recommended, free glass of prosecco on arrival, so welcome on a hot day.

    Beautiful town with old streets, plenty of restaurants and small shops. Good communication service. Many historical sites to visit - Porto Flavia, San Giovani Maine with amazing cave of Santa Barbara.

    We visited in May. The town was quaint and quiet. There was plenty of parking both on the street and at the large parking lot near the harbor. There are numerous restaurants offering a variety of local seafood and other dishes. We found 1 supermarket in town, not large but it had all the essentials. The Spiaggia di San Nicolau is only a couple minutes drive north of town and is a beautiful beach with a restaurant and ample parking.

    Alba Sarda ia a big lie about everything.The front gate was not closing without being actually locked.Iglesias is nice but that property asked us 500 Q for 7 nights ! I wouldn't pay more than 300 ! When I asked about parking she sent me a voice message on Whatsapp in a very slang italian so I can't understand! Because they haven't got any parking;what a shame!
