Great location, it was super easy to get to, and also easy to get to nice restaurants in the area. Loved the spacious bathroom and how good the shower-head pressure was. Danielle was great, and let us use the spa even though there were less than 40mins left before they close. The smart locks made our in-outs very easy! Highly recomming the property!

A true boutique hotel with 12 rooms in a central location with excellent service and efficiency. As soon as we arrived, the lady at the reception came to greet us and helped us with our luggage. She was extremely helpful and proactive in organising our plans for our stay (taxi to the airport, timings for breakfast, etc) and showed us to our room and explained everything. She even gave us a luggage scale to weigh our bags for our upcoming wizz air flight. The room itself had everything we needed and was immaculately clean and very quiet on the top floor. Very comfortable bed and an amazing marble shower with three different settings and a door that fully seals so you get a lovely steam effect. Soft towels and the most comfortable bathrobes and slippers. They had also put the radiators on in the bathroom before our arrival (knowing we're from Australia and not used to the cold), which was a kind touch. Lots of complimentary amenities, including individual toiletries and bottled spring water. We also had a skylight in our room, which was nice. The design and decor of the hotel was very tasteful and elegant. There was a lift/elevator too, which is not always a given in Italy. Breakfast was fantastic, and everything was of the highest quality, no pre-packaged supermarket pastries here! The crossiants were heavenly. Included with the cold cuts, pastries, fruits, yogurts, juices, etc. was barista coffee and a hot dish made by the chef. It was so beautifully plated. My only regret was that we had to leave for our flight so we couldn't fully enjoy it. Make sure you make time for breakfast! I don't think I could stay anywhere else in Bergamo after staying at Petronilla. It's worth the extra price compared to Best Western, Mercure, etc. The staff are highly trained and the hotel is very well run. Highly recommend.

This hotel has opened its doors in January so this is the first review on Booking; what an honour. It is a great building with superb look & feel. Everything is new after years of construction. It was an old monastery in case of interest. As we were the only guests from the (about) 20 rooms large hotel it was an interesting experience. We arrived late (around 21) thinking we could still have diner. We could, but not in the hotel. There is a great restaurant (bib gourmand level) down the road (about 10 min walk) with the same chef as the hotel has. There was no restaurant open as we were the only ones. There is a bar and the staff waited for us to have a beer and a nice chat. Super friendly staff, interested and helpful.

The view was spectacular, overlooking the Forresto Sparso valley. The rooms were finished to a really high standard, very spacious, plenty of parking. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the dogs were great companion to my kids! The restaurant was also superb, probably one of the best meal we had in our 8 days in Italy so far. Not to mention their own sparkling wine being of very high standard.

We had a great time at Lago d'Iseo! The staff was really friendly and always attentive! The breakfast was really delicious with every possible extra wish! The restaurant with excellent food was very convenient, especially at this time of the year when the season just has started! The area is perfect for hiking to Punta Alta or for discovering the lake by ferry. Thanks for the welcoming atmosphere!

The owner Nicholas and his Dad are such lovely people, they really take care of their guests. We had to check-in at 1am and they accommodated that without charging us. The food is really amazing, breakfast and dinner. The bathrooms have been renovated, so very modern we enjoyed that!

Travelled through Bergamo many times without stopping as it’s a great transport hub from the airport. Bergamo is really worth a stay , great old town , both old and new parts full of great architecture, restaurants . Views and walks if you want them from the old town . Milan and lake como both less than an hour away .

Good location, close to the airport and shopping centre. Hotel is offering airport/hotel transfer €5 per person. Very good breakfast and nice restaurant for dinning in the evening or bar where you can watch football while having a drink. Very nice staff. Double room has good size, clean, nice bathroom. This was my second stay and I will stay again in this hotel.

Our full day experience in QC Terme was above all...

Our full day experience in QC Terme was above all expectations! The range of activities is more than one can imagine, from variety of indoor and outdoor pools (bubbles, fountains, waterfalls, ice baths, balcony baths etc), over saunas for everyone's taste (cinema sauna, healing sauna, 40 degrees to over 80 degrees), to feet treatments and face trainings, and more! Food selection was also great, with an all you can eat lunch buffet and an afternoon aperitivo. We were not bored a single second during the 10 hour stay, and mountain scenery only adds up to the value and experience! Would highly recommend!

Getting transport to the hotel was a bit difficult for me...

Getting transport to the hotel was a bit difficult for me moreso because of language barrier. There was no taxi rank at the Bergamo train station therefore commuting to the hotel took me almost two hours from Bergamontrsin station.

The good part of this accommodation was that the apartment...

The good part of this accommodation was that the apartment was really close to the airport. We lost our flight and rescheduled for the next day early in the morning so that is the reason that we choose this apartment and because it was of the cheapest in the area. What we met was not so pleasant. There were still toilet papers even with blood inside the toilet bin, the pillows and the bedsheets where dirty, the glasse for the water had even lipstick on them and the apartment in general was not cleaned. There was a bottle of water inside the fridge ( tap water) which we never tried after what we had seen in first place. And all these for just 120€…!

Beautiful apartment, really conveniently located in the centre of Treviglio. The bedrooms and living area are very spacious and modern. Excellent facilities which exceeded our expectations – air conditioning in each room which can be controlled separately. Beautifully decorated, quiet and relaxing. There is a very secure entry system too. Also well located for the train station – approx. 5 mins walk – with connections for Bergamo, Milan, Venice, the Lakes and more. Communication with the owner was pleasant and helpful.

Bergamo is a real surprise. We did not know much about it before we came but really enjoyed it. It has beautiful vibrant buildings which all carry a central theme. The old town is a joy to discover which although out of season did not appear to be over turisty. A refreshing contrast to Milan which is just under an hour away by train or bus. I would stay in Bergamo and take a day trip to Milan if you want to see the sights of Milan but return to a much more peaceful and safe environment.

Orio al Serio is very pleasant, calm and quiet...if there is no plane taking off, which happens every 5 minutes. I recommend it if you have an early morning flight or arrive late at night, in which case you can easily get to/from the airport on foot in about 25-30 minutes. You can walk to Città Alta by public transport - bus 1A.
